We have a BW View studio @ BWV's for 11/30 - 12/4 :teeth: :teeth: :teeth:

We will probably watch Illuminations from our balcony a couple of nights. dd is 3 and last year we LOVED putting her to bed a little early and enjoying the view from our unit @ BCV :cloud9:

Does it make much of a difference what floor we are on? Do the higher floors have MUCH better views? I'm not concerned about any noise - it is pretty quiet that time of year. Just trying to prioritize our requests.

princess: Thanks! princess:

Since you will be looking over other structures/obstructions during Illuminations, the view for Illuminations improves every floor up.

IMHO, there is not a signifcant difference. At least it is not worth stressing about - go ahead and ask for an upper floor if you so prefer, but don't worry if you don't get one.

Best wishes -

IMHO there is not a major difference between floors for watching Illuminations. There is a major difference with a standard view but not much of a difference with Boardwalk view but it wouldn't hurt to be higher up.

Here's a (Link) to a picture of some of the low level fireworks from our third floor room during Illuminations. It is a great view to have.

I totally agree. We have had 2nd floor BW views and 5th floor BW views and in between. All had good fireworks views.

Thanks for your replies! I don't want to be so demanding that I don't get any of my requests... After all, I'm only renting points & I don't want to end up on the "naughty renters list" - which I'm guessing is a step below the "naughty owners list".

Since I already have a BW View I’ll just make the following requests: Non-smoking, close to elevator, top floor, non-handicapped, w/ a day bed, large balcony, not above Jellyrolls, the 3rd digit of the room number must be an even number as long as it isn’t 4, & freshly shampooed carpet. If they are unable to meet these simple requests I’ll just demand to be moved to another resort. :confused3

Anything I forgot? :rolleyes1

Thanks again! :earboy2:

Yep....that further from the elevators might have a slightly better view of Illuminations....so I think you should request a room that is close to the elevator, except Sorcerer Mickey moves it to the best possible Illuminations viewing spot at 9:00 each evening and then moves it back so you don't need to hike to the elevators in the morning.

After all, its Disney.

But other than that....
