BWV BW View in December!!!

Just booked a BW view @ BWV for the weekend of December 12-14! I was surprised that it was available, actually just about every resort & every view was available surprisingly. Anyways I'm really looking looking forward to this and even though it's just a quick little weekend trip it should be awesome! I've only had a BW view once before & never during the holidays so needless to say that should be awesome! I was originally set to go for a week in December, but it looks like I'll be starting the fire academy in October so unfortunately I had to cancel the December week. This definitely helps make up for it a little bit! Can't wait for a BW view @ Christmas!!!

Unfortunately I won't get there until late Friday night & will be leaving Sunday night & there is no MVMCP on Saturday night so I'll be missing out on that this time. I can wait to see everything decorated again though! I was there twice last year during the holidays and several times in previous years, but this will be my girlfirend's first WDW holiday experience so it should be great!

Great news, it will be wonderfull. Not super suprised it was available since we now know most folks check in on Sundays and stay for 5 nights (highest averages anyway).

1 Bedroom, there appeared to be plenty of availability so you should have no problem.

Since so many DVC'ers Stay Sun to Thurs its' great for us "weekend" people.

Love being able to find a weekend available on short notice
I really don't care about the extra points - that's when I can go mostly and that's why I bought enough points so I can go weekends.

I agree! That quick little Friday-Sunday weekend trip is awesome at anytime, but especially during the winter!!! We're actually now considering trying to exchange for a MK view @ CR instead of the BW view depending on how many more points it would cost us. I'll keep you guys updated.

Ok, called and checked about possibly switching over to CR w/ a MK view for the weekend, but there was nothing available @ CR, Poly, or GF so we're sticking w/ the BW view.... not that that is a bad thing by any means! I'm very excited about the BW view @ Christmas!

The weekend nights are the key here. Called the other day for Christmas/NYE and everything was wide open -- for just Saturday night!

That was the same problem we had when checking for another earlier weekend in December. Luckily the 12-14 was wide open both nights!
