Thanks, guys! We do own BWV points, so I booked all but the first night of the trip (which is a Saturday) at the 11 month mark. I called when the 7 month booking window opened to add the Saturday and waitlisted for that night. SO happy it came through!

Hoping for pixie dust for you guys that are waitlisted, too!

What were your dates? I just had to cancel my oct. Trip for the 3rd and 4th. I had a boardwalk studio. Just curious. Just fyi if anyone is interested i have 2 ressies at le cellier for lunch that i am going to cancel as well on the 4 th and 5 th.

I'm sorry you had to cancel your trip.

Our dates are Oct. 22-28, and we are in a 2 BR. My husband, his brother, our niece, and a dear friend have been going to Food and Wine for several years... this will be our sixth trip for the five of us. DH and I go more often that that, though, thanks to DVC.

Can't wait to sip and stroll around the World Showcase. That is my happy place!

by chance I checked the DVC site for my waitlist (1 nt change) and there it was but I did not get an e-mail telling me this. I needed the e-mail so I can make a new waitlist for another nt. don't know how much time I lost because I don't know when the 1st WL came in.

I just called MS at 10 am today Fri 22nd and asked when the waitlist came through, she said it came through July 2,2011 (20 DAYS AGO,I LOST 20 WAITLIST DAYS FOR MY OTHER WAITLIST) i ASKED WHY NO E-MAIL, got no real answer. what's new.

I guess we do still need to call MS to check on our WL. I was told before you didn't have too because they send out e-mails if you get the WL.

When I have a waitlist I check the member site every day to see if it has cleared. I don't remember ever receiving an e-mail confirmation. Years ago I SOMETIMES got a new confirmation letter. I have sometimes not even received an e-mail confirmation for an initial booking but I have always been able to see it online.

I have never received an email when a wait list came through either just kept checking the member website.....congrats on it coming through
