Hi,

For Spring Break I will be taking my nieces (one is turning 15 and the other will be 9) to Disney for a week and we will be staying at BWV in a studio preferred view...

1st Question: Can I see pics of the preferred view room?

2nd Question: Is a studio to small for us, do you think a one bedroom would be better (we will be purchasing the DDP and will not be cooking)?

3rd Question: How likely are we to get BLT in a studio for Spring Break (we are on the waiting list)?

4th Question: Do you think a BLT studio is to small for us, should we stick with a BWV studio?

5th Question: How many days do you need to stay to get a complete cleaning of the room?

Sorry for all the questions...

Thanks,:thumbsup2

BWV studio is about 359 sq ft. BLT studios are about 340. Thus, you will be more cramped at BLT. Big enough for three, yes depending on persons involved. (We would not survive in a studio with three but obviously many do it with four). You get a trash and towel service on the fourth day (and in counting to four include date of arrival). You get no full cleaning unless you stay at least 8 nights in which case you get a full cleaning on the fourth day, trash and towel on eighth. You can purchase full cleaning for any one or more days while there (I believe it is now $30 a day for a studio). For photos why don't you try going to Google images and just put in "boardwalk villas disney" and see what you get. Note that most of what you may find showing inside of villa now is not how it is going to look when you go as they are redoing the rooms as we speak. As to liklihood of studio at BLT from waitlist for spring break that is unknown; it would likely be better if by spring break you mean a time other than the two Easter weeks and if you are waiting for Lake View (69% of all rooms) rather than standard (11%) or MK view (20%)

Hi! :wave2: When you say spring break, what week exactly is that? I think you would have plenty of room in a BLT studio for the 3 of you, especially b/c you will be on the DDP and won't be using the full kitchen. Also, consider which parks you will be going to most, the BWV are great if DHS is their fave b/c you can walk (I think)...but if you plan on going to MK or Epcot more I would do BLT b/c of the monorail. just my opinion though. :goodvibes

1) Go to wdwig.com for pics of the rooms, you may or may not specifically find preferred view, they look the same inside. Or try youtube.

2) Studio has worked for myself, DH and two 15 yr olds just fine. It's roomier than you'd think.

3) Can't answer this one as I never tried, but I think the studio's are smaller at BLT than at BWV.

4)See 3.

5) You get trash and towel service on day four, and each fourth day after that. So if you check in on Sunday, you get it on Wednesday. But you can call mousekeeping and ask for a full clean or trash and towel at anytime. You will be charged a fee, but I don't recall how much...sorry.

6) HAVE AN AWESOME TIME!

Sorry I forgot to include my husband, so their will be 4 of us and we will be arriving on March 26-April 3, 2010...

Thanks...I'm considering keeping us on the wait list for BLT, my youngest niece hasn't been to MK for a long time and doesn't remember much and I know she would enjoy going to MK twice and my hubby just loves Epcot. Though, my oldest niece and I love the big thrill rides in MGM but like BLT is our home resort and we have never stayed there, here's wishing for the wait list to go through.

My children (DS20, DD16, and DD13) and I stayed in both a BWV studio and a BLT studio this past summer. The BLT studio was definitely smaller than BWV. We were only at each for 2 nights so it wasn't that bad (we then went to VWL for 3 nights and that was also bigger than BLT). I know that the square footage doesn't sound that much different, but I think that is because the BLT studio bathroom is bigger than the BWV bathroom.

Our home resort is BLT and I loved it there. MK is our favorite park so the smaller room was offset by that. But, I don't think I would ever stay there in a studio again with 4 of us, for an extended time, unless I needed to conserve points. I will book the 1 bedroom from now on (except on the night we arrive since we don't get in until 8:00 pm) and go with SV so we can make it work. If you have the points and can get the 1 bedroom, I think you will be much happier--plus, your nieces would each be able to have their own bed as one can use the pull out and the other can use the sleeper chair.

Good luck and have fun!

Now I really don't know, the points are high due to it being Spring Break but I do not want us to be cramped. Now I'm thinking about saving my points for later in the year and using that new vacation package offer (stay 4 nights w/ tickets get 3 nights free w/ tickets). :confused3

jmho go for 1 bedroom villa even if it means you have to take a shorter trip because of the points; 4 in a studio is going to be extremely tight even in the closest of families and best of circumstances. Everyone will benefit from some privacy and having extra space in 1 bedroom; there will be none of that whatsoever in a studio for you, DH & the young ladies. Even if you think you will be in the room very little believe me when I tell you that it will be too close all of you in a studio - - and kids are not on same page with grown-ups when it comes to sleep habits....you may anticipate falling into bed exhausted when you get back from the parks late in the evening but that is often when kids catch a second wind and want to watch tv, surf the net, listen to their ipod, snack, read, etc. I could go on but I won't but I know this scenario well from my 3 :dance3: I'd go for 1 bedroom at BLT or AKV to have a second full bathroom too.

Best wishes on your planning :goodvibes
