BWV at Thanksgiving??

What are my chances of getting a preferred view studio at BWV for the week of thanksgiving w/7 month window???

DH and I were talking today about canceling our september trip to WDW and going on a cruise instead! (yikes, what a trader I feel like, we haven't been anywhere but WDW since 1997!) but we're just tossing around the idea! If we do cancel sept., we would probably want to spend thanksgiving in WDW! I would want to stay at BWV, but would stay at a diff home resort if need be, what do you think my chances would be of getting the preferred view studio at BWV???

Good luck. I've been getting the impression that it's a pretty popular time of year. We just purchased a BWV resale in Feb, and I am on a waitlist for the Sunday after Thanksgiving through Thursday...we got Friday and Saturday (after Thanksgiving) (called 9 1/2 months ahead). If I were you, I don't know if I'd cancel any other plans before I actually had ressies in hand.

We went last year the day after Thanksgiving and booked our room late. The key is to call MS every day or ask to be put on a wait list.

Remember Sept. is huricanne season...that's why curises are so cheap!

If you do get rooms be sure to go to the Candlelight Processional at EPCOT.

I tried for a studio at BWV for Thanksgiving week at 10 1/2 months out and couldn't get one. All of them were gone already. Your best chance is the continuous calling routine in case of a cancellation. I got a ressie at OKW with no problem though (we have points at both resorts).

Will the Candlelight Processional actually have started by Thanksgiving week? That would be great!!!!
