BWV 2BR Villas ?

Hello All,

We are renting DVC points for the first time this year and i have a quick question. Add to that we are staying at BWV and have never stayed at BWV either through DVC or regular rooms.

We are getting a 2BR villa and requested a Preferred/Boardwalk view through the point rental website. I thought i read somewhere that there was only Boardwalk views for the 2BR, but i can't confirm that anywhere else. Are all the 2BR non-standard rooms Boardwalk or are some also Pool.

We want Boardwalk view and are just trying to figure if it is something we'll need to request at On-line check-in or not.

Any help is appreciated for this novice DVC stayer.

Boardwalk view is a separate booking category, so if you do not have that view booked, you won't get it. Don't bother requesting it; it is not a request.

The 3 view categories at BWV are:

Standard
Preferred Pool/Garden
Boardwalk

Standard uses the least amount of points. BW view and Preferred view use the same # of points. Ask the owner of the points to waitlist BW view for you. Since it is the same # of points as what you have booked, it shouldn't cause any issue for the owner to waitlist, unless they already have the max # of active waitlists already going. Good luck!

All two bedroom villas at BWV are lockoffs. Meaning they are composed of a studio and a one bedroom with the door open between them. So you will have two entrances to your unit. And two thermostats (one for the one bedroom section and one for the studio section).

2-bedrooms are in all views. but as bill/deb says it is a 1-bedroom and studio.

BWV has no dedicated 2-bedrooms - the only DVC resort w/o them.

It's Grand Villas that are only boardwalk view.
