I just did this today for BCV and OKW (I used BCV and OKW because there are no views involved). Taking the 2019
points charts and applying each day to the number of dedicated studios, dedicated 1 BR and all 2 BRs. For BCV I get a total of 3,027,700 points for the entire year. Doing the same for 2020, I get a total of 3,036,704 points. This is 9,404 point more for 2020, however there are 366 days in 2020 vs 365 days in 2019. For OKW, the total number of points for 2019 is 7,662,600 and for 2020 the points are 7,704,945 for an increase of 42345. The increase is more for OKW, due to the number of rooms vs BC.
To me, these two resorts appear to be balanced from one year to the next.
I didn't do any resorts with views because finding the information regarding views is not as easy to obtain.
I would assume that for resorts where there are both dedicated and lock-off studios and 1 BRs, the 'premium' is more dictated by the point cost of the dedicated studios and 1 BRs. For resorts like OKW, I would think that they would try to align the 'premium' with the other resorts. It still isn't fun to find out that your points cannot cover what they used to, but I question this whole idea that what was done is not legitimate.
