BWV 12/30/07-1/5/08: Which DDP in January? 2007 or 2008?

We're checking into Boardwalk Villas on December 30, 2007 and staying through the new year until January 5, 2008. Would we be "grandfathered" under the old rules for meals in 2008? I tried to search and didn't find anything. Thanks!

There isn't anything Disney has written down about that, but most Disney-watchers generally agree that that is the case.

We have exactly the same question. The CM told us that we would still enjoy the benefits of the 2007 plan as long as the package began in 2007. So enjoy your last trip using the 2007 Disney Dining Plan!

Thanks bicker and Diznut84! We're staying on our DVC points if that makes a difference.

We're at AKV from 12/26 - 12/31 and then we were going to check into a 2BR with friends on 12/31 (we split the days and each "pay" with our own points). Now it seems that they can't make it and we have to use our back-up plan of the studio we booked for the same time. Thank goodness for back-up plans! The downside is that I have NO dinner reservations after 12/31 since they tour much differently than we do. We had planned to "wing it" and eat counter food for much of the week. I didn't want to make "back-up" food plans also ... too much trouble! I'll know for sure if they are going for sure this week because of DVC point banking deadlines. I guess I'll find out what's left at the 2 month mark!
