??????? BWV 12/17 to 12/23/05 SO EXCITED!!!

Since we had to cancel our HH trip for this August (my fault..... ) my DARLING DH has agreed to go to the "WORLD" at Christmas!!!!! We are going to hopefully be staying at BWV but the points are in a holding account so I have to wait until 10/17 to even call and check availability....That's gonna be a LOOOOOONG wait for me. Any way I have two questions, do you think I'll have a problem booking a 2 bedroom 2 months out or will I probably have to waitlist? And ...... does the BWV have 2 bdrm lock-offs? Thanks!

The good news is that ALL of the 2 bedroom units at the BWV are lock offs - so no worries on that account.

Tried to make reservations for a 2BRM at BWV the 1st of June for the same Dec 18th-22nd. No rooms so I waitlisted. Some nights have come thru and waiting on one more!! Pretty sure it will come. Best to get on the list as soon as you can.

You don't need to commit points until a reservation is made - in other words, if there is no availability when you call, you can waitlist, no problem. There wouldn't be any change in the status of your points at that time.

You can't ever borrow points until/unless a reservation is actually made - so if the waitlist doesn't come through, no points would be borrowed and any points in holding would still be in holding (until the end of the use year).

We had points in holding last year with the same plan except for a 1BR. I called 60 days out and they had OKW - so I took that and waitlisted for BWV. They called a week later and said my waitlist came through for SS. I hadn't waitlisted for that, but I took it anyway and stayed on the waitlist for BWV. They called about two weeks later to say that BWV preferred view had come through and I took that. They asked if I wanted to waitlist for standard view - but heck, we were happy as could be and didn't care about using a few extra points. So, it worked out for us - just don't know whether getting a 1BR is easier than a 2BR or not! Good Luck!
