We are starting to plan our Sept 2007 trip down (can anyone say obsessive?) LOL
Anyway, my DD14 wants to stay at BWV that trip to try it.
We usually drive and are Autotraining it in Feb AND taking my mom, so we are getting our usual 2 BR at SSR, since the trip is 12 days and there will be 7 of us.
But for Sept 2007, my mom won't be going, and we have to fly since DH's vacation that month is short. We are looking at 9/23-9/29 or 9/30, as we want to hit MNSSHP and possibly check out the first day of the F&WF (although it may not start before we leave).
Anyway, after that convoluted background....finally my question. We are planning on using points at BWV (if we can get in there) for Sunday to Thursday night, and then move to the Poly for Fri and possibly Sat. night (my DH has that on his list of places to try).
We are 6 total, but DS will only be 2...so we are actually 5+infant.
We were going to get a 2BR at the BWV, but then I wondered if we could do a 1BR, as I have seen some posts about 5 in a 1 BR. We won't be carrying the usual "everything AND the kitchen sink" like we do when we drive, especially since we plan on resort hopping. And with the washer, we actually won't have to pack much at all. We won't be IN the room that often, and even for naptimes my 2 older kids usually go to the Arcade or exploring when the little ones nap. So the only time we would all be in there for any length of time is to sleep.
As far as sleeping arrangements, we would probably put me, DD14, and DD(who will be 4) in the BR, and DH and DS12 will share the pullout and DS2 in the crib. And our little DD4 would sleep in a pack and play too if we needed, she is a peanut and would still fit (she is 3 and just started wearing a size 2T). It is not like DH and I have much privacy usually anyway, since we have the little ones in cribs in the BR with us on our trips now anyway.
Also, I think we are going to be squished at the Poly on the weekend, so the transition might be less painful if we were in a smaller unit.
So is it possible to book a 1BR with 5 at BWV??? And will I need to pack tranquilizers for the stay?
