What are the pull out sofa beds like in the 1 bedroom unit at BWVs?

We are staying in one in July....family of four, boys ages 8 & 3 1/2....didn't make sense to use the extra points for another bedroom since you don't spend much time in the room and the kids are usually wiped from the days in the parks and pools...

Any opinions?

Thanks

The pull-outs are fine - especially for kids. I believe they are queen size. Have a great trip !

I think they'd be fine for kids. I have had an adult friend of mine stay with us and she says the pull out is actually quite comfortable.

I am also staying at BWV in july during the 4th of july week. The pull out is okay but a regular bed would be better.I have 3 children staying in the 1 bedroom but i also bring aero beds that get used more then the pullout.

For the ages of your kids, the pull out will be fine. When they get a little older, invest in the aero bed. My kids fight over who gets to sleep on it.

DW and I stayed in one last July (1-bedr) and one night I slept on the pull-out to see how it felt. I just had major back surgery 2 months earlier (May). I had no problems at all and I'm a light sleeper. You're boys should be fine. BWV is our home

We've had 2 teenage boys (6 footers) on it for 3 years running and they were perfectly happy.

Of course, last May we got a 2 bedroom and they had their own room and beds and are now spoiled, but that's another story....

Another vote for "no problem" in the 1BR. The only problem is if your kids cannot sleep together without fighting (like my kids). Then, the air mattress is a great investment.:)

As a side note, we're getting a 2BR for our next trip for our group of four, and while the sleeping arrangements are part of it, the main reason is to allow access to the kitchen/main room/balcony without disturbing sleeping kids.

But our trips with 4 in a 1BR were great too.....especially after 4 in two double beds in hotel rooms! :)

Stayed in a 1BR and grandkids (ages 9 and 11) slept on sofa bed. We thought about bringing aero bed for one of the kids and using sofa for the other, but wouldn't have had room for twin aerobed when sofa bed is pulled out anyway. You might get two twin aerobeds in living room if you don't pull out sofa bed. Sofa bed worked great though. By the time I got ready every morning, the kids had already turned the bed back into a sofa. When the grandkids get older though, I would imagine it might become a problem and we might have to get 2BR.

We just returned from 5 days in a 2 bdrm at OKW. We only had our 5 year old grandson with us so we talked about downsizing to a 1 bdrm. I am glad we didn't, he had his own space like at home, and we had ours. He loved the stories at night on the Tv and when he was tired he went to sleep in his own bed. I guess we could have gone with a 1 bdrm if points were short but luckily this was not the case

We always get a one BR, and our DD 11 sleeps in the sofa bed. No complaints, in fact she loves it. Only problem is, she refuses to fold the bed back in during the day since she likes to climb into her bed and watch TV when we get back from the parks. Not so bad at OKW, but kind of tight at the other resorts. Diana
