BWPPI Questions

We're staying at the BWPPI in December. I'm wondering if someone has suggestions for room requests? I'd like to not be on the far side of the hotel. We have a mini-suite, if that matters.

Also, has anyone had the hotel hold their luggage when they arrive. Our plane arrives around 9am, so we're expecting to be at the hotel by 11am. We just want to make sure we have a place to put all our luggage, as we won't have a car to store it in until our room is ready.

Not sure about the mini-suite locations, I've just stayed in a King and a double queen room before and they were close to the front.

As for luggage, yes they have a room. They'll tag it and give you a claim ticket for when your room is ready. I've used it everytime and never had a problem.

We've left our luggage with them several times, no issues at all.

I've never stayed in a mini-suite. Just 2 doubles(by the pool) very noisy, and a King at the very rear of the hotel. It was so quiet back there.

And as much as we like the hotel, we have had very few requests ever honored by them. We have been 3 times, always asked for the top floor, and only got it once. And we go in the off season, mid-week.

Call and let them know ahead of time, they may even have a room ready for you. I have never had a problem with requests. Mini suites are in the front and back. I always stay in the front building by an elevator.

We have requested top floor both times we stayed there, and they always accommodated us. We stayed in a mini suite in the further back section on the side facing PVI. We didn't have any noise problems.

I requested not first floor when I made the reservation online but was told when I got there they couldn't accodomate my request because they never got it and King rooms are only on the first floor.

Mini Suites are only on the 2nd & 3rd floors. I found this out when I called to ask some questions about the room.

We always requested and got the side away from the Captain Kidds restaurant in order to not hear that noise.

We booked through an agent for bwppi, how do we get the no car rate? Can we ask about it when we're there and get a refund or do we need to book the no car rate now?
