Family of 4(2 adults, 11 yr old son 5yr old son and infant girl) debating to stay at Beach club or BWI (arriving 12/16 passholder rate) has anyone stayed at both, did you prefer BWI over beach club? I know that wilderness lodge is sold out for that date so not an option.Any info would be appreciated..

I honestly prefer the Boardwalk. Mainly because I like the room decor better. They are similar resorts to me but I think the Beach Club has an edge over the Boardwalk because of SAB. Especially since you have children with you, if they are going to be using the pool I would say Beach Club is the way to go, there is no better pool area then SAB. Hope this helps!!!:Pinkbounc

I too prefer the Boardwalk. I like all the dining choices (bakery, sweet shop, carry-out pizza, ESPN club, etc) and the atmosphere of the Boardwalk. I think the 11 yo would prefer SAB at the BC/YC, but the 5 yo may like the BW pool better. When we were at BCV last year our kids were 6, 4 and 3. They love water slides but because they couldn't swim weren't allowed to use it at SAB. But they could use water wings and go down the slide at Boardwalk. Also, SAB is *so* large it can be hard to keep track of the kids. But with the convenience of both resorts to MGM and Epcot, I think you'd be happy at either! Have a great trip!

I also love the Boardwalk. But the Beach Club is a close second. I like the pool at the BW just as much as SAB (call me crazy). Either way is a wonderful choice!

We love BWI. Took my kids on a tour of BC last trip and let them make the choice which deluxe to stay at... they still picked BWI. They loved the Luna pool and Keister coaster slide and the lifeguards were so friendly. DH and I liked how we could sit at the bar area and still see our kids (as they swam for hours... in Feb! ) BC seemed to have lots of young kids around, we liked the atmosphere at the BWI better. And we all loved the BW entertainment at night.

Thank you everyone for your responses about BWI..We are going with BWI I really don't think we can go wrong with either one...it's always magical at Disney!
