Does the BWI have a quiet pool or is the one near CH at BWV the quiet pool for BWI and BWV? If so, where is it in relation to the BWV quiet pool?

The BWI has their own quiet pool. It is in the back of the Inn in a very pretty courtyard. when you get in the elevator hit the pool button and go out the doors. We love using the quiet pool here.

If I was at the bwv quiet pool, would I see it if I stayed on the walkway behind the resort? DH and I will be doing our best to avoid the afternoon pool parties at the main pool.

The quiet pool is lovely, and not seen by the walkway. In fact, we preferred it all the time during our December trip over the Clown Pool (not for a fear of clowns, just far more relaxing). It was easier to access from our room location (standard view king) as well, so that was a bonus!

So if I wasn't in the building, how would I find it? Is there a sign on the walkway? Not accessible from the walkway ? Thank you:)

Here is a link with a map of BWI/BWV. The Inn's quiet pool is in the upper right quadrant. You have to go through the building to get to it unless you were to go around the conference center on some service roads. That's part of what makes it so nice and quiet. There is a hot spa by the quiet pool, too.

Thank you. Now I can visualize it :) Coming from BWV can I cross the lobby toward Bellevue lounge and exit to the pool somewhere around there? I'm sure I'll find it eventually

Yes. Go just past the Bellevue lounge and you'll come to a bank of elevators and a door to the outdoors. You can either take the elevator down one level and exit the building or walk out the door and down the stairs to a courtyard. From there it's a pretty walk to the quiet pool.

It's funny, but people do get "trapped" in the courtyard. I was walking back from the pool and saw a woman who looked a little lost who was trying to reach someone on her phone. She saw me and you could see the relief in her eyes. She asked me how to get out of the courtyard. I told her to walk with me and we walked up the stairs to the elevator lobby I mentioned above. As soon as she walked in she said "oh, now I know where I am!"

Funny thing?? I bought BWV back in '03. I have stayed there more times than I can remember. BUT...I never knew that back area existed!!! I got bored one morning, passing time until DME picked us up. So, we ambled on over past BelleVue, and down those stairs. Imagine my surprise when I 'found' the cottages and that beautiful quiet pool!! I would use it but it's a fair hike from the Villa side of BW. So, we use the quiet pool by the Community Hall.

That's hilarious. What a discovery to make. It is quite a hike from the Villa side, but if it ever gets too loud or crowded at the BWV quiet pool, I would think it would be worth the walk to the BWI quiet area. I had the spa to myself and there were just two small families using the pool when we were there earlier this month. Oh, how I miss that -- it's snowing more here today.
