Hi all -
It's late, and I'm having a bit of a panic attack.
In November 2006, I reserved a deluxe room at the BWI for my trip with my parents and younger brother. A big part of choosing this room category was that I wanted the extra space, a room in the main building, and a view of the Boardwalk. The BWI experts on this board assured me that all deluxe rooms have Boardwalk views, so this seemed like the perfect spot. This trip is a *huge* splurge for me, and I want it to be perfect for my folks.
I received an email confirmation dated yesterday -- though it's been all paid off for months so I didn't know why I was receiving anything -- and it lists me as being in a garden suite! I'm sure the garden suites are lovely, but I want my Boardwalk view! (My mom will sit and drink her coffee while she looks at the water, and the rest of us can sleep an extra hour.) Also, this new room arrangement appears to be about $110 less than my old one, so the confirmation is showing an overpayment.
What do I do? Has anyone dealt with this before? Do you just call and ask them to put you back where you were before?
