BWI - Concierge or Standard ???

I would love some thoughts on our trip. We are getting married at Disney in November and are staying at the Boardwalk for our Honeymoon. We have AP's and are trying to decide whether or not to stay in a standard or concierge room (total price difference is about $350 for 4 nights). I'm not sure how much we would use the concierge lounge.. but we have never stayed concierge before.

I would love some suggestions/opinions

I stayed in a standard room at the BWI a few weeks ago and had faxed a room request for a nice view, preferably high floor overlooking Epcot Fireworks. I got a 5th floor room overlooking all of Epcot with a perfect view of Illuminations FWs. I don't think you could get a better room view with Concierge. So I would guess it would be a matter of the other perks and your own finances. It will be memorable either way. But do let them know it's your honeymoon.

Congratulations on your upcoming wedding... My husband and I are going to Dinsney next week and we decided to splurge and also stay at the Boardwalk Inn. We have always loved this hotel but couldn't afford to stay there until we saved our pennies! We toyed around with upgrading to the concierge, but decided to stay with the standard view -- from talking to others -- there are so many great views from the standard section, and we didn't think we'd be around enough to use all the concierge had to offer...

Our opinion would be to save the $350 and use it to buy yourselves something wonderful to remind you of your perfect wedding...

Concierge is great. If you have the money, stay on concierge level.

Have you priced the garden suites? I read someone got what I thought was a great AP rate. Their's was a honeymoon stay as well. Otherwise you can't go wrong either way.
