Hi all!
I am thinking about adding a couple nights onto my BCV stay this New Years Eve week and was considering the BWI Concierge. We have stayed at the BWI in the past (regular waterview rooms), but never concierge. We love the resort and I was hoping to get info on concierge lounge, service, etc.

1. What are food offerings?
2. Is the staff friendly?
3. Was it worth the extra money?

I'd love to hear thought, see pictures and learn more about the BWI Concierge.

Thanks in advance for you help and advice!!!

I think "worth it" is too subjective. If you mean will you eat as much as you are spending extra for concierge, the answer is no. Unless of course you have a tapeworm  :D (Just kidding!)

The food offereings at the BWI are not quite as plentiful as they are at some of the other concierge lounges. However there is certainly enough for breakfast and dessert. THe afternoon snacks are basic "snacks", things like goldfish, pretzles, cookies, gummyworms, etc. They do have cans of soda, but you have to ask for them, they aren't out. I don't recall them having water out, and not sure if they have it at all. There are limited appetizers in teh early evening, plus wine, and desserts (fairly plentiful) in the later evening with cordials.

The concierge staff there is VERY friendly, and the atmosphere there to me felt like a B&B rather than a large resort hotel.

I have to agree with ducklite. It is all opinion. I have stayed at ther other concierge floors and then stayed at the BWI concierge in March on my girls only trip. Well, I won't stay anywhere else now! I am going on a family trip in October and we have 3 rooms booked on the concierge floor. The food offerings were not as varied or plentiful as other resorts but the Cast made our entire trip wonderful. Jackie is fantastic!! She worked miricles for us. Dan and Eric were also great to us. They made PS at the last minute for us, changed massage apoointments and made you feel at home. They greeted every guest with the same enthusiasm. We loved hanging out late evening in the lounge and just talking to them. They knew what we liked to drink and would get it for us. If what we wanted wasn't available they found it for us. I can't say enough about the cast here. I called Jackie to let her know I was coming with my family in Oct. and the girls would be back in March. As you can probably tell, I loved my stay there and am so looking forward to returning

thanks for the information. To me , it worth it if the staff is friendly. And it seems like they are.

If anyone has pics of BWI lounge/rooms???
That would be great!

The staff is wonderful and when we were there 6 weeks ago they had plenty of soda and water sitting out and I didn't have to ask for anything. Also, there was plenty of food.
