BWI concierge help - w/Illum. cruise?/ph. #????

We'll be there late Oct. -- do you think concierge can help w/arranging an Illuminations cruise? I only have one more morning to try myself to get it so I thought maybe I'd try asking concierge for help. I know when I booked the room they gave me the concierge phone number to call if I needed and help with other ressies, so maybe....
And of course I can't find where I wrote down the number -- I'lll keep looking but if anyone out there has it, I'd appreciate it! Thanks

Have to agree with ZuZugal, let the planners do it for you! Alana was able to get me one just this week, less than 90 days out. The planners at the Epcot resorts are fantastic. My e-mails have been answered very proptly by Lauren, Analisa, Alana and one other whose name escapes me right now. Have fun and enjoy your trip. You will love the BWI concierge. It is my favorite place top stay.

I recall the planning of our last trip was more time consuming, trying to set up different reservations. I am hoping that concierge can get us in a few places we couldn't do before.

Has anyone ever had concierge get Cindy's within the 90 days or other popular restaurants within 60 days notice?

Also, I've never heard of the Illuminations cruise. What exactly is it? Is it from one of the Friendship Launches that go between Epcot and MGM?

The # given is for the Itinerary Planning Office. They are located at the YC and do all the planning for concierge guests at the Epcot resorts (YC, BC and BWI) The cast at the Innkeepers club is also amazing. They will be glad to help you with any changes in PS or new ones once you are at the BW.
The Illuminations Cruise is mainly using a pontton boat that they have at the YC marina. You will have a captain who takes you down towards MGM for a liesuly ride before the start of Illuminations. We parked right under the bridge that goes between the UK and France. The view was amazing and we had a ball. We were parked by other pontoon boats and the luxury craft, The Breathless.
Your planner will be able to get you all those hard to get PS. We have always had a patio seat for dinner at the R&C to watch Illuminations while eating dinner. You seem to get better seats when the IPO makes all your arrangements. They are there to do this for you and they are great at their job.

Dreamin' Disney - The IPO is great at getting the hard-to-get PS's!! Just leave everything in their capable hands, and they will surpass your expectations! IPO gets first crack at the cancellations for CRT, HDD, etc., so you have the best chance of getting last-minute PS's with them. That's why I'm so hooked on CL, not the food offerings (which are great, don't get me wrong) but for the superior service.

I have had excellent luck getting Cindy's and even the Storybook breakfast last minute with all the planning offices! I've had one MAJOR screw up with AKL concierge, but they made it right for us and mistakes do happen.

Thanks for the info! I finally got a letter in the mail from the IPO for YC/BC/BWI. I've filled out the concierge guest itinerary form with all our PS requests. I'm also hoping that they can get us on the Magical Fireworks Voyage. Since we are under 90 days, I am really hoping that they can fulfill these requests. To me, that will really be the best part about booking Concierge. The lounge with food and beverage service will just be the icing on the cake.

We were staying at the GF at the time, but their concierge staff was able to get me CRT while I was at the resort. I'm sure it was due to a cancellation, but my DD was thrilled.

I also noticed the hostess's computer screen when we were checking in at one of the restaurants. Next to our name, it was listed as VIP. I don't resemble a famous person in any way, so it must have been just the fact that the ps was booked by concierge

I have Annalisa for our upcoming Yacht Club vacation and she has been wonderful. I loved getting the questionnaire and also the packet of park, recreation and resort information that she sent out. We're not at our 90 day window yet but I'm hoping that she'll be able to book our Illuminations cruise. We only have one night that we can do it in.

The CM's I have had from the YC/BC/BW IPO has been just wonderful in responding to all my requests. They have fulfilled most of our PS requests, including getting the Magical Fireworks Voyage within 90 days. I am still trying to get into a Fantasmic Dinner Package and Princess Storybook Breakfast so I am waiting and wishing that these will come available.

I emailed them just the other day to see how things were going, and they replied that they check for cancellations every day, so if something comes available, they can nab it for us right away!
