BWI Airport to DC?

Hi everyone my son would like to know if there is a shuttle or something to go from the Maryland airport to Washington DC. They would like to check out the White House and museums and things but they’re not going to rent a car and they wanted to know what’s the cheapest best way to get into that area. There will be two of them. Thank you.​

You could take a shuttle to the Amtrack station which is right next to the airport and then take the Marc train to DC. The shuttle would be free. Not sure how much the Marc is to DC but it should be reasonable.

Marc train. My husband took it on a recent business trip to D.C. BWI was the only airport he could fly to direct.

Yep. MARC train. It’s like $7 or $8 each way. It uses the same tracks and station as Amtrak into DC.

Alternatively, Amtrak is a slightly more expensive option but offers nicer amenities.

Best to check out the schedules for both online. Both are VERY easy options!
