Bwalk Cribs

We will be at Bwalk for the firtst time on Friday.Can anyone advise Do we have to call ahead for a crib???What are the cribs provided like?My daughter is 6 mos (last minute worries)

The units have a pack n play crib stored in the closet. They are the soft, foldable type of cribs. If you don't see one in the closet, housekeeping can bring one up to you.

They do not come with crib sheets, only a regular size flat sheet, which has to be folded up and tucked around. You might want to bring some fitted crib sheets from home. They take the port-a-crib size sheets.

Our experience has been that all units come with "Pack and Play" cribs in the closet, which means that you get two if you stay in a 2-bedroom, since one is in the studio closet and the other is in the 1-bedroom closet.

BWV does have "real" cribs available. You should phone ahead to reserve one. They are very nice metal cribs (much better than the standard pack-n-play), and are perfect for infants who are not standing. One side of the crib is lower and can be a problem if your child is able to stand (we put the low side against the wall and had no problems).

We asked to have a regular "crib" for my daughter who will be just shy of 14 months..She would never fit in the pack/play. Thanks for saying that one side is lower... I guess I will do the same as you - put it against the wall.

How big is your daughter? Mine is just shy of her 2nd birthday and she's off the chart in terms of height (100th percentile) yet she slept fine last week in the BWV pack-n-play which is probably about 4' X 2.5'.
