Will WDW allow us to hang hooks which can easily be removed (like Command hooks)
to hang our jackets & bags, on the wall near the door to the room ?
I wish BW villa studio's had hooks near the door - like other resorts.

Per Command:
"Command Hook are fast and easy to hang. Using the revolutionary Command Adhesive, holds strongly on a variety of surfaces, including paint, wood, tile and more. Yet, removes cleanly no holes, marks, sticky residue or stains."

No. There is a closet right inside the door/foyer that has hangers that you can hang your coats on and not ruin the villa walls.

I wouldn’t...they may say....those hooks are easy to remove but they also take the paint off the walls..it happened to my daughter ...so please don’t

There is nothing said specifically about wall hooks in the rules and regulations but they do provide that the owner may "not paint or otherwise decorate or change the appearance of any potion of the Condominium Property without the prior written approval of the Association," and also that "no Owner, guest, invitee, or lessee shall paint or otherwise decorate or change the appearance of any portion of the Condominium Property nor shall any Owner, guest, invitee, or lessee make any additions, alterations, or renovations to the Condominium Property." Condominium Property includes all portions of a room including the walls. The above likely prohibit any kind of wall hooks. At the very least, they indicate that you probably should get express written permission from the association (or its managing agent, DVCMC) to use them before doing so.

Rules are one thing and logic is something else. I wouldn't do anything that could damage someone elses property. Hooks maybe be important but I can live without them for a few days. At BLT someone had hung something from the top of the door, closed the door and bent the door frame and dented the door.

Appreciate this question, OP.

I asked about wall hooks at BRV a couple days ago - none there, either. :confused3
I'm not sure why these two DVC properties decided wall hooks were out, but I'm sure there's a reason...

It's not just those two. It's all of the DVC resorts.

Except for SSR. They have wall hooks in the entry. Love them. I wish DVC would add them to all of the resorts.

DVC added hooks in the studio bathroom at BLT, they look more like big knobs, but they hold the extra towels nicely. Why can't they add something like those in the entry at each resort to match the decor? We left our bags, hats and magic bands for the next day on the hooks each night at SSR. It worked great.

Please don't and if you do please don't do it at my home BWV

Probably because hooks are often hung at a level where when you aren't looking, you can run into them (hey, I'm a klutz) and they don't want the liability. For everyone who says "I wish there was a hook there" there is someone who - had their been a hook there - would be posting - "I ran into that hook and nearly put my eye out - what was Disney thinking?"

(I have coat hooks in my house and I have the bruises to prove it - did I mention I'm a klutz).

OP, I see you’re looking into renting DVC points, realize that the people who own those points have to pay maintenance fees every year and we’d rather not have those fees go up unnecessarily due to repairing things like damaged walls from people doing things like hanging hooks on them, so we have strong opinions on the subject. The closets in the villas are convenient and there’s really no need to remodel the villa for a stay of a week or so.
The other issue is that if you tear the paint or wallpaper then the owner of the points might be charged for the damage - as owners are liable for any damage they or the people who use their points cause to the villa.
