BW View Noise?

We have a 1br BW view for week of Easter. Never thought of it before but now reading lots of stories of noise.

We do not go to bed early (typically close MK or Epcot) but not looking for constant noise in the room either.

Is it really that noisy in the room? Also any suggestions for room requests for quieter area?

I've had a boardwalk view villa many times. The only time I was aware of noise was the night I was in my room earlier than usual, and could hear the dining of the basketball toss game down below. We were on the top floor, but just across from that game. It did shut down fairly early though.
Otherwise, the only time I heard any noise, after going to bed, was if I woke up to use the little girls room around 2am...that's when Jellyrolls closes up for the night. But, nothing ever actually woke me up, or kept me awake.
There is activity on the boardwalk in the morning..carts being moved around and such. But that wasn't really early.

We almost always stay in a BW view villa and don't recall ever being bothered by noise. I do remember that when we had a Luna Pool view, the microphones they use for afternoon activities were really loud and annoying!

we've stayed BW view many, many times
in hundreds of nights, we only had one time where people leaving JRs woke me up (i'm a light sleeper; DH slept thru it).
with the balcony door closed, you still might hear a bit of noise until the BW games shut down, and in the morning, the (soothing, imho) sounds of the friendships tooting their horns.

imho, the BWV is one of the more serene resorts

(as carolynfh said, the afternoon luna park pool party is LOUD - but only in the afternoon, and only in LP pool area villas).
