BW Standard View available at 7 months!!

I couldn't believe it myself. I could have gotten 9 nights at BWV in a standard view for July 13 - July 22, but DH decided that he REALLY wanted the BW view, so we booked 7 nights instead. We wanted to try another resort during this trip since were staying 12 days and this will break it up nicely. But I still couldn't believe my fortune when the CM said that standard view was available. I almost took it just to say I got it!!!! Oh well.... But I can't wait for the BW view!!!!!!

While I am certainly surprised that there is a Standard View room available at the 7 month window, I am absolutely shocked that there was a Boardwalk View available. The fact that you got one means that no one was even on a waitlist for those days! Just amazing!

This should help put some of the fears to rest for those who felt that they would never get standard view or Boardwalk view at the 7 month window. Thanks for the info.

I can certainly understand your shock at the standard view being available. I recently stayed in a standard view studio the second week in December. I was so sure it wouldn't be available when I called at 7 months, my request was "I'd like to be put on the waiting list for a standard view studio at BWV for 12/6." When MS said "Waiting list? We have one available", I was so surprised! Congrats on your BW view-hope you enjoy it.

I was surprised when I was able to book a 2 bedroom at BCV July 18 - 23. I was pretty surprised that I was able to get in during the middle of the summer.

We are wait listed for a standard view the first of June. They did have 2 nights but we wanted all 5. Otherwise we will just keep our OKW ressie. Either way we will just be happy to be there.
