I can't decide. We love being over in the Epcot area. The ease of walking or boating to the 2 parks w/out folding up a double stroller is...priceless. However we LOVE AKL. My DH really wants to go back there and our DD really wants to do CL. We are going either the week before Thanksgiving or the week after (can't decide that either).

Which would you pick and why...

Well, that's a tough one!! I will admit, I'm not a big BW fan (love BC), but I, too, LOVE being in the EP area for the exact reasons you mentioned. Also, LOVE AKL! However, we stayed at AKL right before a cruise and I deliberately chose AKL for that trip because we weren't doing heavy park touring.

SO, my vote - if you are going to do a lot of park touring, go BW. If you are going to relax a bit more and be able to enjoy AKL-CL, stay AKL!

Can you do a split-stay?!

If we were to stay CL again it would have to be AKL because of the Sunrise Safari, that was the biggest plus for our stay there.

Otherwise I would prefer BWI non CL

I had a similar dilemma so we are doing a YC CL/AKL CL split for our upcoming trip. We love AKL and the CL there, and the sunrise safari -- it's really nice. And we also like SAB and walking to DHS and Epcot. :goodvibes

I agree completely :thumbsup2 It really depends on what you want out of the trip :)

Thanks for the replies so far. We are mostly going to be in the parks. We don't go commando but everyday is a park day (except for 1 or 2 days). We go at a leisurely pace. We stayed at BC in April. We had a great time. Our main reason for wanting to try BW is because the lack of quick food options at BC.

I just realized that this may be the last time you can stay CL at AKL since you are 4 + infant now, soon to be 5.

Does that make a difference?

Could you do a split? (Might be too much packing and unpacking for you).

I agree about the stroller thing, though, with the buses. When my DD was in a stroller we preferred to split between the EP resorts and the monorail resorts for convenience.

Both! We love BWV for the location. But I just modified my Dec reservation today to move the last 4 nights to AKV. We've always wanted to do AKL and since we're doing a long trip I just couldn't resist the split stay. I've scheduled it so those last days are AK park and off days.
