My parents just bought into the BWV & bought enough points for us to use too.

I keep looking at Allears and here and can't find any sort of quick service or 'foot court-like' restaurant for the Boardwalk. Am I missing it? I see the bakery, and then the Spoodles pizza window, and then some sort of kiosk on the boardwalk with corn dogs, chicken sandwiches, hot dogs, etc. And then snack at the pool bar. Is there no sort of place like Roaring Fork at WL or Captain Cooks at the Poly?

Thanks!

Well, at the Boardwalk, there is ESPN Club, Spoodles, Flying Fish Cafe', and Big River Brewery....so no, there isn't really a counter service unless the little kiosks count.
Hope that helps!

TOTALLY excited for all the dining options at the BW and nearby, but still am a bit puzzled why there is no quick service- I thought all the hotels had them. Guess I'm mistaken! We'll just have to fill up at the World Showcase. ;)

The BWI/BWV doesn't have the counter service dining because it is located on the boardwalk which is directly under the Inn or Villas.

The only quick service of any kind at BW is the Bakery. Breakfast not many choices except the pastries are to die for. However the limited menu of sandwiches is actually pretty good and large enough to share. My favorite was the Mufaletta......mmmmmmmm! Otherwise your dining dollars are better spent over in Epcot.....

The closest CS eatery on the Dining Plan, which I consider a true food-court, is Sunshine Seasons inside Epcot's FutureWorld.

Hi,

I know it is just for the morning meal, but isn't the Bellevue Lounge, just off the lobby of the BWI,BWV, still serving a continental breakfast? We always enjoyed the selections there, and I believe the baked goods are from the Boardwalk bakery. Enjoy your stays at the Boardwalk - a most wonder place to be.

You could walk over to Dolphin and eat at Picabu, if you're looking for a quick egg-type breakfast. And you'll find Starbuck's coffee there as well.

We stayed at BWI last year, and luckily we stayed concierge, which served a great quick breakfast (breads, pastaries, cereal, yogurt), or we would have been impacted by no CS in the morning. The Bakery is okay, but it can be a bit crowded in the morning, and there are no seats inside - you are to eat outside at the tables (plenty, but if its raining . . .)
