ANd LOVE reading about BWV....because my next WDW vacation is in a 2 BDRM Boardwalk view room (with 5 other women, no kids & no husbands, just US! 
) and....because after I was lucky enough to book that villa at 7 months, I started thinkin' about it...and we decided it was going to have to be more than a lucky thing...so we just passed ROFR on a BWV resale! 
I think I'm going to loooooove calling that place home!

The "was Sunday now Tuesday" football fiasco. So, FIVE of the ? how many nights were you there ? 9? And FIVE had football games. oy. 
In fact, I would thoroughly enjoy "THE PSYCHOLOGY OF THE ROPE DROPPERS 101". Thoroughly. I'm not joking.
You see Jean is fast. I'm not as quick as her. So the first one we went for TOY STORY MANIA fast passes to use at night. (Yes I'm aware you should go to rope drops to actually stay and do some rides - not just to grab one FP for the night and call it a day..
So when we got in she took off in the area I pointed to her and I JUST SAT.
Too bad they don't have rocking chairs there for me.
And no it wasn't boring. It was a very fascinating half an hour. VERY.
Everyone is SO different in their ways and strategies.
Some rope droppers RUN like the wind.
Some RDers get SO CONFUSED.
Some RDers go ahead and forget their families.
Some RDers argue and shout.
Some RDers spin their maps until their heads spin.
Some RDers talk about strategy for so long that I worry for them getting ANY FPs.
And some RDers don't really understand why they came for the rope drop.
Why I've been avoiding such fascinating fun for so long is beyond me.

She did it. She got us the golden ticket. Toy Story Mania. I haven't been. Don't make me go back to no parks story. AND I am beyond competitive.
AND my husband at DL. Did you know that the TSM at DL is NOT a FP attraction? It's not. We had to wait in line. Every time. Wanna see my favorite picture from TSM? That's me on the right

We ran to TSM, got on it once right away and then got a fast pass as soon as we exited for another go at it later in the day. I too am competitive, and was thrilled to beat DH on both Buzz and TSM. We went by ourselves and even had to take pictures of the screen to prove to my boys that their mom was the champ.

You see rope drops came under blasphemy. I find it difficult to make breakfast cutoffs at WDW.

what i didn't know is that tickets only work for FP's if someone used it to enter the park that day. a cm did get me one, but admonished me not to try it again <hanging head in shame>.

Hard to keep any book group going. I think people like the idea of being in a book club but somehow not the reality of being in a book club
