anyone stay there? I know its not a super place to stay. I am more concerned How long does it take to walk to Disneyland? The hotel website says its .05 miles, but google says .4.

I have a five year old that isn't going to want to walk too far super early in the morning. Should we just drive or is the walk fine. IN the afternoon we will have the stroller but in the morning probably not. how much is parking. or should we just bring the dang stroller in the morning too?

We stayed there in September. It was not too bad.
The walk was fine, but we did get moved to a room at the front of the motel on the ground floor because with all the blisters, that last little bit really makes a difference!
Staff was accommodating and friendly :)

I wrote a review on Tripadvisor, if you'd like to read it...it will probably be one of the most recent.

All in all, not bad...nice and close.

Hope this helps,
Linda

is there a walkway that goes *right across* the street, or do we walk a down the block? Its not a big deal us just for the kiddo.

It's a short walk up Harbor Blvd. just past a couple hotels to the crosswalk (not be confused with BW Park Place Inn that's right at the crosswalk). See the map link I pasted at the end of the message.

I would definitely not drive - the walk is very feasible and driving would take you forever in comparison. We were toward the back of the hotel and the walk TO Disneyland was an easy one but the walk BACK seemed to take a while after a long day of walking all over Disneyland but it's definitely one of the closer hotels - a room up front would have been nice for the walk! (although probably much more noisy with the oustide corridors and everyone walking past your room)

All that being said, I'm not too picky about hotels as long as they're clean. However, the beds were terrible, like cardboard, and the shower pulsated between hot and freezing cold no matter what time of day we took our showers (which were very short needless to say!), not to mention the stains and and huge mold spot in the bathroom too. My sister-in-law's family stayed at the Carousel on the same trip which seemed much nicer (relatively speaking...they're all "budget hotels") so we're going to give that a try this time. Plus, it's closer to Mimi's which is a great restaurant!

Good luck and have fun!

See this hotel map I found while planing:

^^^Yep, I can vouch for everything here. We were so tired that we were not bothered by any foot traffic outside, but it may be a concern if you're a light sleeper. And yes, we too had some bathroom cleanliness issues, and one single bug which we debated whether it was a cricket or a cockroach.
