BVC 7 months out

We recently booked a 1 bed at VWL just 6 weeks before the trip, I was really thrilled to find availability. In fact, all resorts were available except BCV.

Next September is my parents' 40th wedding anniversary. We would love to take them to WDW to celebrate. BCV (or BWV as a second choice) would be our preferences. I want to try ALL the resorts!

We had a great trip to The Beach Club in 2001 for my wedding, we had a large group and it was wonderful. Also, Dad doesn't like to drive in the US (we are English) so the location means my parents can get around independently by walking and taking the boat and buses.

I know BCV is quite small and very popular. Am I getting my hopes up for nothing? Anyone manage to get a 2 bed at BCV 7 months out for September?

We had a fab trip to SSR last September so if we cannot get in to BCV, we will be happy to go there but I would love to take mum and dad back to BCV if possible.

Yes I did. We had our honeymoon there 3 years ago. We own at SSR. So this September we are going back to BCV and were able to reserve a 2BR and Studio for 5 days in September at the 7 month mark.

If you are really set on it, you could ask someone to trade (ex: if you have VWL points trade 300 for 300 BCV points) then reserve at 11 months. Good Luck-its is a great resort.

September is not one of the more popular times for DVC - I can't imagine that you will have a problem getting a 2 bedroom unit at either the BCV or the BWV for September if you call at the 7 month mark. I don't htink you will even have to waitlist!

We are going in Sept of this year and decided to give BCV a try (die hard OKW owners). I did book day by day on the advice of MS, and did not have a problem booking a 2 bdrm for 9 nights.

If you can I would call day by day or maybe every couple of days... I don't think you will have a problem!
