BUZZ's Brigade - TEAM CHALLENGE - POST MILES/HOURS HERE

Sorry, team, that I haven't been back to post pictures. It'll have to wait until next week, now...

Meanwhile, we have team mates earning double miles this weekend!! Cam, Karen, John, Allie, and Pat will all be doing us proud!! Give them a shout out on the Race Reports/Encouragement thread, too!! :cool1:

Hi Team!

Pretty slim numbers this week, but as Anne mentioned I will be doubling my Madison miles for next week!

45 minutes
1 mile

Hey team!

Well I've overdone it this week and put in 43.7 miles. I'm headed to Charlotte for the weekend, but still plan to get in a couple runs. So my numbers will be much lower next week.

I think we have lost a few team members, but I'm holding out hope they will return. I haven't seen numbers from NYCPA (End of April), IHEARTDL(Middle of April), MINIGIRL (March.)

For May I haven't seen BJKJ or COLOMBARDI.

If you see any of these folks have them check in with us and shoot us some numbers.

Kathy (Valentine) I need your numbers. :wizard:

Keep up the great work and enjoy the extended Holiday weekend. :thumbsup2

Hi, everyone!
My numbers aren't that great this week. I've just been wiped out at work.
Totals for 5/16-5/22
Miles -- 29.8
Time -- 390 minutes (6 hours 30 minutes)

Sorry I forgot to post numbers yesterday. The kids only had a half day at school and now they are out for summer. :scared1:

Yes, Anne the Cotton Row (my first 10K) is Monday. I am soooo excited. I now know that I can do it and in a decent time. :thumbsup2 I just got some inserts for my shoes today. The sales guy said that it would help with the knee pain. :cloud9: He said as long as I do a short run tomorrow, and some walking tonight, I should be fine to wear them for the race. I remembered that my DIS WISH friends told me to NEVER do anything new on race day. :thumbsup2 I'll let you know how they work for me.

Sorry to be long winded. :rolleyes1

Here are my totals for 5/16 - 5/22:

Miles: 21.72

Hours: 5:56:48

I don't know how I will do now that school is over, and I won't be walking the dogs every morning anymore. I am going to try and be diligent about walking them with my DH again. We used to be really good about walking them every evening. Although, I should do fairly well next week since I get double miles for my race on Monday. ::yes::

Hey Everybody,
Quick check in then off to grandsons little league game.

Miles-17.5
Time-4:04

Chris-I will be in Charlotte this weekend also, but working 2 twelve hour shifts for our local power company!
Cam-Most of us would love those slack #'s of yours!:thumbsup2
Allie-let us know how/if those inserts help. I've been thinking about some to help with heel pain.:headache:

Hours: 1:39:76

Miles: 6.553

Yoga: 60 min

Good luck to everyone doing races this weekend! :) I can't wait to find me a 5K this summer somewhere to try out.

Ugh. I have another zero to report this week. :( For some reason, I've been completely unmotivated to even move this last couple of weeks. Sunday I have a 5k and I'll be lucky to walk it at the rate I'm going. Then again, maybe it will be the kick in the pants I need to start running regularly again. :confused3:

My numbers:

29 Miles
4 Hours 50 Minutes

One more week of taper for me and then the marathon:scared1:

I think I'm going to try a 2 week taper for my next marathon. This 3 week thing seems too long.

Best of luck to everyone racing this weekend! I can't wait to read the race reports!

Hi Team,
I was out of town for a while last week so my numbers are a bit low - Sorry

Running: 12 miles
Cross Train: 70 minutes

Total time: 160 minutes.

Then I got sick and have only put in 8 miles so far this week. But, I'll get it in gear.

Looks like quite a few races coming up. Go get em team!

enjoy,
Duane

Sorry to be late in reporting my miles again.

11.25 miles -- 3:10

I have races coming up soon to get some double miles. I won't have too many of them this year, though, I'm afraid.

Another slow one to report...

Miles: 6.5
Hours: 2:33

The good news is that I've already exceeded those miles for this week, and it's only Monday! Last week was an off week - I just couldn't seem to get moving. Now off to mow the yard!

Jackie

Hi Buzzies. Please welcome your new team mate Chrisine, RunningJusMe. She needs a team with support and you guys are a good together group.

Walking Panda

Welcome Chrisine as Panda spelled it or is it Christine? Either way I'm glad to have you on board! Remember, the new person brings the doughnuts.

enjoy,
Duane

Did someone say doughnuts?

That's it from me. I'm off to San Diego tomorrow morning to earn us some double marathon miles!

Welcome Christine! :welcome:

Guys, I am so sorry that I haven't been posting much and my miles are not that great this week. It has just been really busy and a lot is going on with the "wedding" planning, so I've been a bit distracted.
I probably won't have time to get in any more minutes today (I did get to the gym this morning), so here are my totals for 5/23-29:
21.31 miles
4 hours 40 minutes (280 minutes)

Cindy -- Have an awesome race!!! :cool1: :yay: Take good care of yourself!

Christine -- I am sure a gazillion people have asked you this, but have you seen "Spirit of the Marathon"? It is about people training for the Chicago marathon and it is so awesome and inspiring. Looking forward to hearing all about your training! :goodvibes:

thanks for the welcome ... :)

OK, so totals end today? can i submit my piddly totals after my run (ha-walk) this afternoon?

i have no idea how im going to see Spirit of the Marathon, its not showing anywhere near me .. (DFW area)... i have seen the quick you tube video and it made me tear up ...

best of luck to you in San Diego ... what a beautiful town!!
