BUZZ's Brigade - TEAM CHALLENGE - POST MILES/HOURS HERE

Hello! A good "proper" girl??? Funniest thing I've heard in a while. ;) I'm still in the middle of my week, so do I post my totals at the end right? Does the week end on Sunday's? So just keep up with my total miles and hours?

I'm in the middle of the C25K, planning on signing up for the Princess Half in March this week. Scary stuff, it's going to be a long road, but looking forward to the challenge.

Our weeks run from Friday - Thursday. Chris (goofyinohio) is the keeper of our records. Just post your total miles and minutes on Thursday, or whenever you get a chance.

Running: 16.5 miles around 160 minutes
Cross Training: 95 minutes

Good news though, I bought a bike this weekend. It's used but in pretty good shape so I can start adding some miles on. I plan on using it in place of a run since it is getting so hot out now. I had to run Saturday in the middle of the day and I could only squeak out 4 miles. It was 90 degrees with 85% humidity and absolutely no shade. Brutal!

Need to update. I took my new (for me) bicycle out for a few minutes last night. This is so much easier to knock off 6 miles than running :)

New totals for week ending Week ending May 15.

Duane - Those bike miles sure do seem to roll by faster, don't they?

I've actually worked out for 11 straight days. I'm planning the days at least a week ahead so I have to report to myself at the end of the day, and it's so much harder having to explain to myself why I didn't do my planned workout!

Hi Buzzies!!! How is everyone??? This weekend is the FINAL.. yes you heard it here first.. FINAL weekend of "Annie"!! YAY!!! I am soooo excited! I can get back to taking care of me!!!

So.. I was thinking maybe we can do a team challenge of sorts... I am going to come up with something fun and creative for us to do.... mix it up a little... .If anyone has any fun ideas ... please PM me....

I hope everyone is happy and healthy... I know that our teammates Karen and John have had a happy addition to their family.. .let us all welcome their new grandson!!!!! If you all haven't checked out their thread.. go on over and take a look at that gorgeous little boy!!!!

Ok, I did fine on that 10K trial run last Saturday, but I haven't done anything since. :headache: My knee started hurting really bad, so I decided to give it a rest. Plus this is the last week at preschool, and we had our end of the year program last night, so this week has been crazy busy. I'm gonna do another "trial run" this weekend. I may try out an ice bath afterwards. :cold:

That's all running - I've given up even trying to get back to doing any cross training until after the marathon.

I wanted to let you know that I may be disappearing soon. I couldn't PM anyone to let them know because those priviledges were taken away on Saturday. I don't really post much and I don't have really close friends on these boards, but I have made a few posts in opposition to the bannings that happened (mostly effecting the community board) and the way they were handled. Not sure if that is going to cost me my membership here, but I didn't want you all to think I just flaked out if I do not post totals this week.
