BUZZ's Brigade - TEAM CHALLENGE - POST MILES/HOURS HERE

Jackie, Great job on the negative splits!! You were speeding along there!! I know with this foot injury, it was really getting me down. I had to do just what you did..break it down to small pieces. The 5K sounds like it just might be the boost you need!
Valentine/Kathy, thanks for taking the time from your busy rehearsal schedule to update the list! :clown:
Chris, hope you get that sun and warm temps this weekend!! :sunny:
Leslie, I see you have Everest Challenge in your siggie. Do you have a team mate? I already added YOUR name to the event calendar!! :goodvibes

Last night was a 45 min walk night. Tonight I did 20 min on the trainer with my new bike. Estimated distance as I didn't have the bike computer turned on for half of it.

Big fat goose egg for this week. Nothing. Nada. Zip.

I had to cancel my races this weekend due to budget issues -- we had 5 weekends of swim meets in a row (high school team's local, regional and state champ meets, followed by our year-round team's regional and senior champs meets), which didn't leave any descretionary income for my race travel. I'm bummed.

Glad to hear you are motoring out there, Jackie. I wish now I'd registered for the Run for the Oaks instead of two races at Virginia Beach this weekend. <deep sigh>

Oh well. What's done is done. Guess I'll need to get in some solid treadmill time this weekend.

Good for those of you that are weathering the winter and getting those runs in anyway. :yay:

Hi Team! :) Just checking in to say good morning to everyone!!! Hey Karen.. I'm Sorry.. seemed I missed your Birthday.. soooo Belated HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! :)

Well... funny thing.. last night someone said at the end of our rehearsal... wow.. kathy has really been working out this week... and I though.. wow.. yeah.. I have... every night has been choreography ALL night... and every night.. including tonight... sooo... I am going to have quite a few hours to post this week!! YAHOO!! :)

I am happy to see everyone is doing well... even when we don't do the miles/hours... we are all still checking in to tell that tale!

That is what this is all about!!! So.. GO TEAM!!! Have a GREAT THURSDAY!!!

Kathy

Wendy - I'm sorry that you won't be able to go to your races this weekend.

Kathy - When do your rehearsals end and the shows begin?

I had a good week:banana: But, this should actually be my biggest week until after the half on March 29th, but then I'll be getting in some pretty high mileage weeks again until I start to taper for RnR San Diego.

42.28 miles (8 biking, the rest running)

6 hours 30 minutes (This does include a few days of abs work - I'm really trying to be more consistent about that).

Hi Buzzies!

I've been getting my steps in slow but sure. Gosh darn it I have a hard time increasing my pace on the TM. Did anyone see on The Biggest Loser where Jillian bumped on the speed of Brittany's TM to 14 mph?? That is absolutely crazy - of course she only stayed on for seconds, but I've got to wonder how good/safe that is for you to do. No danger of that happening with me!!

Take care everyone!!

:scared1: My jaw dropped when she did that!! Heck, it dropped when they were doing 8 mph!!

SPRING is coming!
SPRING is coming!!!

14 mph? I seriously don't think my legs could move that fast!

Great week. Awesome to be running outside again1!!!!

Miles - 16.1
Time - 6.45

Have a great weekend BUZZIES!

Hi, Buzzies!
Mine for the week:
16 miles
3 hrs. 20 minutes

I didn't cross-train at all, so it's my hope to improve that next week.

My total is pretty small again this week. Got a new pair of running shoes and managed to completely kill my knee running in them. :( Took a short walk with one of my kids today to make up for any running I missed.

This week:

5.21 miles
1 hour, 58 minutes

Jessice, did you take the shoes back??!! We don't want you to injure yourself!! :goodvibes

I did return them. I had ordered them online, but have decided that once I get my money back, I'll be a good girl and go to the local running store and get properly fitted. :goodvibes:

Finally something to report! Since I didn't return to the world of the active until Tuesday, it's not much, but at least it's a start.

Miles: 7.4
Hours: 2:12

Wendy - I just registered tonight for Run for the Oaks, and you can register Saturday morning at the event. Come on and join me!

Jackie

Hi All,
Back from our cruise and not much mileage to report. Do I get extra credit for eating above and beyond the call of duty?

Anyway here are the vacation stats:
14.5
3 hrs 55 min

I have a 5K on Friday then the race calendar is pretty clear for a while. Hmm need to find something.

Have a great week!
Duane

Hey Teammates,
My first mileage posting eve!!!!:cool1: I’ve been reading back over the old post trying to glean the proper way of posting my mileage and times. Let’s see if I got it right. Total miles-Start on Saturday and end on Friday. Time-cumulative. X-Training & treadmill -count in totals. Sound right or am I missing the mark?:confused3

One other question. I’ve got my times and mileage back to the first of February. (Good ole Garmin!) Do you want them? Or just start now?
I’ve really been excited about this all week. Been a good week with great weather and plenty of time off from work so really had my best outside week ever.

My time and miles for this week are:
119 min and 10.12 miles Need to do better. Have 6 miles on schedule for this weekend.
