How many people can sit in a seat on the Buzz Lightyear ride. We have three DD ages 1, 3, and 6. For the rides one of us sits out with the one year old like Buzz can 1 adult and two kids fit, will both DD get to play or how should we work that? After you get off the Safari in AK do you walk back around to get your stroller? Are there other rides that 1 adult and two kids can fit or rides that are great to bring the :flower: 1 year old on in MK. Thank you.

I would imagine that an adult and the 3 and 6 year old would fit on Buzz, but I'm thinking it might be tight, and there's only 2 laser guns per vehicle. However, we brought our 1-year-old (14-months) on it on our last trip, and she did fine. I would suggest one of you with the 3-year-old, and one of you with the 1yo on your lap, with the 6yo next to you. Then, everybody gets to enjoy the ride!

And the safari, the way it worked when we went on was that we could actually take the stroller about 1/2 way through the queue. Then a CM took it and put it in the stroller area. When we got off, we did have to walk down the path a little ways before getting to the stroller area. The hardest part was finding our stroller, since we had NO idea where in there it was, since we didn't place it. I suggest putting something identifiable on it to make it easier to find.

HTH!! :flower:

You might put the 2 kids on the guns and have an adult control the spinner stick and have the other adult ride in another seat on the ride with the baby in tow not spinning but just riding. At AK we have lost our stroller everytime that we come out form ITTBAB but haven't had any trouble finding it after the safari ride.

Most of MK is geared toward the younger set of ages so almost all rides have 2 or 3 people seating available. Off of the top of my head, I'd say that baby can do Tomorrow Transit Authority - a great place to sit, nurse and rest if need be, , Buzz ( if not spinning ) Pooh, Peter Pan, Dumbo, 4d movies, carrosel (sp) if you hold them on or sit on a seat to ride, It's A Small World, I took my kids on the Haunted Mansion but loud noises DID NOT frighten them at 1 years old- that ride might be too much for a easily startled baby and toddlers, Riverboat, Country Bears show, Aladdin magic carpets, Jungle cruise - again gun shots- didn't startle my boys but might other babes, pirates was fine but as they got to toddler stage they were frightened of the guns. I can't think of any others at MK right now, as for the other parks- I didn't take them there as 1 year old until they were older- lots that we could have ridden but we just didn't have the time or money to visit the other parks.

Hi,
We have boys aged 2 4 and 6 and we all went on the buzz lightyear ride true ther is only two guns but my 2 yr old was quite happy in the middle of dad and big brother and watching all the things you pass. it does not spin fast so he really enjoyed this ride as a family we did this ride 6 times it was defo the fav ride for all of them and me and dh got to have a go with the boys with a different one having 1to 1 with mom or dad each time.

The safari has pretty much being covered by everyone else but I have to say we struggled to hold the 2 and 4 yr olds in their seats as it is very bumpy and they could not sit on our laps - no lap sitting no matter how small the child is was the response we go from a cm. I dont know if thats normal or if we got a cm on a bad day but I would double check that the 1 yr old will be ok on your lap before you get on the ride - sorry to be a kill joy but there were times when i was seriously worried that my two were really going to get hurt.

That's weird. When we went in Feb. I held DS who was a little less than 2 at the time on my lap several times and no one ever said anything. I wonder what the "official" policy is?

Well, here's your 'official' answer...lap sitting on the Safari trucks is OK :) Standing is not OK. Standing in laps is not OK. Lifting children up to see something is not OK. Passing a child over from Dad in one row to Mom in the next row is not OK. But, children seated on laps is perfectly fine :flower:
