Does anyone know any secrets to scoring points on Buzz? I got the highest score last time and could not for the life of me figure out how I did it. Are there any good tips?

I'm sure there's a tiny panel in the top left hand corner of the tunnel type room. Don't know how to describe it any better, but I came out with an amazing score after constantly shooting at that!!

A friend of mine told me she hit a secret spot once that instantly gave her the highest score possible. She couldn't get any more points throughout the rest of the ride, no matter how many other targets she hit. So, there is a secret target somewhere, but I have no idea where it is. And neither does my friend for that matter because she couldn't reproduce that shot no matter how many times she tried it.

I'm sure somebody on here knows where the secret target is.

I know that one of the targets in the far back gets you 100,000. I don't remember which, but it was sort of hidden and it moved. You needed to getthe center exactly. It's in the room with the moving head thing.

I know there is a list of tips, but I'm not sure where. I printed it out before my last trip and DS read it before we went.

While we were on Buzz, he kept a running commentary on where I was supposed to be aiming. It was really cute since he was hardly shooting at all because he was so busy telling me where to aim.

I did get my personal best score.

Look for the smallest target in the most out-of-the-way places. Those are the biggest number of points.

The tip of the volcano will get you lots of points, but I can't recall how many.

Also, when you enter, if you hit the back of the robots hand (he's on the left after you enter), that will get you lots.

I had printed out the list of Buzz tips before our last trip, but I don't remember where to find it now.

Found this at http://www.disneyworldtrivia.com/trivia/mk/tomorrowland/buzz.php

"Bet you didn't know that there is a target in the first room worth a whopping 100,000 points!

When you enter the first target room, look for the big orange robot on your left. As you pass it, spin around and shoot at the target on it's left arm.

Then, as you leave the first shooting area, there is a "Z" target on the ceiling above you. If you hit the target directly in the center with the laser, you get 100,000 points per hit.

Your maximum score can be 999,999 points, and you get the satisfaction of impressing your family and friends at being a "Space Commander.""

Here is a pic highlighting a 100,000 point marker:

You get a good long run at that spot, and normally you can hit it 5 or 6 times. That is the highest scoring marker I could find in my most recent trip.

My wife and I love this ride! We've gone on it 3 straight times! Unfortunately, we laugh too much to focus on high scores!!! I plan to do this many times in October! :woohoo: If you can believe it, I've hung my Captain badge on my wall at home from this ride!!!! :dance3:

Heh Heh Heh, now I can finally whoop DH on this ride. ;)
