Buzz Refurb or not? Which calendar is more reliable?

When I check the 5-day events schedule on disneyland.com it is showing that Buzz is under refurb on 5/10, but when I check the daily calendar, it is not showing Buzz as a refurb.

I cannot find any other place that shows Buzz under refurb. Is this a last-minute refurb or is the 5-day schedule just wrong?

TIA

Are you talking about buzz astroblasters? If so the ride is open during the refurb, at least it was last week when we were there. Part of the queue are is blocked off for the work they are doing but hte ride itself is up and running.

Yes. Buzz Astroblasters. Thanks for the info. That is VERY good news. That is one of the few rides that can accommodate a wheelchair, so that's a big ride for our family.

Astro Blasters is slated to be closed from May 11 through May 13. I think the 5-day calendar gets a little wonky when there are refurbishments that happen part way through the 5-day period. Instead of listing refurbishments for each day, they just list them in a single block. So sometimes it means that an attraction that will be undergoing refurbishment at some point in those 5-days is not listed at all and other times it means the attraction is listed. In both cases, it's not entirely accurate because there may be some days in that 5-day period when it's open and other days when it's closed.

Darn, that's like shutting down 20% of the rides for us. I was hoping that the 5 day calendar was wrong, because the 1 day calendar didn't list Astro Blasters as a refurb.

I always think it's interesting how the Disney websites seem to have technical issues, but it varies between individual users. For example, when I look at the 5-day calendar starting on May 10 (showing May 10 through May 14), it doesn't show Astro Blasters on the refurbishment list. However if I increment the start date to May 11 (now showing May 11 through May 15), it lists Astro Blasters under the refurbishments. On the one-day calendar, I see it listed under refurbishment for Monday (May 11) through Wednesday (May 13).

It also appears that the non-US version of the calendars do not have Astro Blasters listed as a refurb at all. Even I select daily, weekly or monthly, it doesn't show.

Buzz is open on the 10th (per the calendar). Is that the day you were wondering about?

There is not a refurb of Astro Blasters listed on the Disney Travel Agent calendar, nor has there been. I've pasted the current listing below.

That is why it is so strange. The only place that shows that Astro Blasters is under refurb (that I can find) is the US calendar

Unfortunately we already know this this has changed as Matterhorn and Peter Pan just got extended to May 22 and July. I would go expecting that Buzz is down those 3 days, if it ends up being open you can celebrate.
