Do you have to spin in this ride? I don't like anything that puts you in a spinning motion.

The spin is very gentle, but you can choose whether or not you want to spin. Each car has a joystick that can use to spin.

You are in control of the spinning of the ride car for almost the entirety of the ride. It's controlled by a joystick, in between the two laser blasters. When they do turn, they're reasonably fast, but nothing like, say, the teacup ride. There are only a couple of points where your ride car is turned, and in these places is it turned very gently; no faster than any of the ride cars on the slow rides (e.g. Haunted Mansion, Winnie the Pooh etc).

HTH! :thumbsup2

I have BPV and even at its worst, Buzz was never a problem. You control the movement of your vehicle. Even if it is in spin mode, it doesn't spin all that fast.

I agree with the others. I can't do any rides that spin, but Buzz Lightyear is not a problem. In the beginning of the ride, you do turn, but it's not a spin really. It turns your car from the position you enter in to the position it will be for the ride. After that point, you are in command of whether or not it spins. If you want it facing the same way all the time, you don't need to spin.
Also, spinning isn't a good word for it; it's really only turning.
