I know there are some sweet spots you should aim for to get your score up really high. Can someone help fellow disser out and post some hints?

TIA

I would love to know as many as possible. I'm getting tired of my gloating husband! I have to beat him! :headache:

In the first room with the big orange robot. After you pass the robot turn your car all the way around and hit him on the back of his left hand or the inside of his right hand. It gives you something like 100,000 points each time.:cool1:

Thanks for the quick replies, keep 'em coming.

generally, the further a target away is, the more it's worth.

That's the one I was going to say. I read about it on the DIS and even told DH about it before we went on the ride. Well, I got it and he didn't. It was the first time I ever beat him and he was so mad. :lmao: I said, well I told you about it.

Last year my husband's score ended up ALL 9's all the way across! I don't know how he did it, he is a serious gamer though. He brags about it ALL the time.:sad2:

In the first room that you see Zurg hit on the target below the pitiful-powerful meter. It gives you 100,000 points.

More! I actually scored 999,999 also once but haven't a clue how.....:confused3

But my DH ALWAYS beats me to a pulp...except that one time. I'd love to figure out how to beat him again!

To be honest, I score enough points by hitting the back of the persons head before me haha!

The key is to keep the triger thingie pressed the whole time.

The one below Zurg is hard to hit when your in front of it though because your gun won't tilt that low. When you first enter that room, he's on the right of the track, turn at an angle so your left shoulder is moving "forward" and you are shooting left from your car and tilt down as far as you can to hit it and nail it until you can no longer hit it from that angle. Then when you pass it you can flip it back to the right and hit it again several times. The Rockem Sockem robot is easy, just turn around and shoot the back of his hand even up close while everyone else is shooting "far away". They'll think you're nuts because you are the only one facing backwards at that time. You should have no problem getting 999,999.

:thumbsup2 I am loving this thread!!! My dh and I are both gamers and are very competitive when playing against each other. I don't think I'll be telling him about this ;)

You don't have to wait until you pass him. You can get 100,000 by hitting the target on the front of the hand, so start hitting it as soon as you can start shooting. (It's his left hand, so it'd be on your right). Also, on the right of the big orange robot, there is a claw that is worth 100,000. You have to look up to hit this one. I normally start hitting this while I leaving the room because I think it's easier than getting the robot's arm while leaving the room. (If you can keep hitting these two targets, you should be around 400-600,000.

When you get in the next room hit the volcano (it's only around 25,000 but I think it's the highest target in the room) Don't let go of the trigger, just keep it on the volcano and keep it down. There is a jack in the box near the end of the room with the volcano, you open it by hitting the target on the right side of it, and then on the back of the box behind the monster that goes up and down is a target worth 25,000. You can almost be to 999,999 by now, but will need to hit the bottom of Zurg's ship a couple times! This is on the right hand side after the room with the volcano. You have to hit it coming in the room and leaving it, but like i said, never let go of your trigger.

If you are still a little short, there is actually a sensor in the big projector room on the wall. It's really hard to find. I think there is one on both sides, but the one on the left is easier to find. If you look out for a blue space ship and an orange one near the end of the tunnel, one of them hovers for a second, you can see a little black dot on the wall, try hitting that I think it's around 25,000 again. Those are all the bigger ones I know, but like someone else mentioned, the secret is to never let go of the trigger!

That happened to us once, but it was a malfunction. :cool1:
