Buying tix online question

I am planning on getting tickets soon and printing them. Is the price listed what we pay or is tax additional? Also, is there any type of fee for printing at home? Someone is giving me cash to put on my cc, so I want to be sure to get the right amount before doing it all.

Also, do you need to print the tickets right then and there? Or is a link sent to your email for printing later? If it is emailed, how long does it normally take to get the email?

Thanks I am sure this has been before, so sorry for the repeated questions

Okay, at first I thought you wanted a tuxedo for DL and wondering why?

I'm not sure about the printing, but prices shown on the DL site do not include taxes. There is no fee for printing them at home.

There is no fee for printing at home but taxes are not included and will need to be added to the price that is showing online

Thanks... I am on my phone and predicted text got the best of me.

Would anyone know how much the tax is on the 4 day park hopper $201 is the shown price.

Unless you are outside the US the price that is listed on the site is the price you will pay. If you are outside the US then I think you have to pay some sort of exchange rate (through the Credit card company). But if the price says $201, then that is what you pay.

I think California doesn't charge tax for theme park tickets - or something like that.

Can someone confirm this? Just getting 2 different answers so I am confused.
Also, can someone tell me how the printing works, do you get a link by email?

Confirmed, no tax on theme park tickets here in CA (that goes for AP's too!).

For the printing, they email you a confirmation email and then send you a separate email that has a PDF image attached of your ticket that you print out. You usually receive both emails within 5 minutes of ordering. The ticket you print out IS your ticket (no need to trade it in). You take it directly to the turnstiles and they will hand you a cardstock ticket to use for collecting fastpasses. It's the best way to go!

You don't have a fee to print the tickets out at home. Once you place the order, Disney will send you a separate email that contains an Adobe PDF file - that file is your ticket(s). Basically, you can wait and print them at your discretion because the electronic file is in your possession (not sitting in some virtual queue at Disney's website).

Also, what you see on their website is what you pay. Here's text from an order I did two Christmas' ago:

NOTE: All amounts for this event are in US Dollars ($)

Your confirmation number is: DOL-------802

The tickets you have purchased are:
Qty Ticket Type Price Total Price
2 5-Day Park Hopper® Bonus Ticket - Ages 10 and up $209.00 $418.00

----------------------------------------------------------
Subtotal: $418.00
Shipping & Order Processing: $0.00
Total: $418.00

We have APs now so unless they started adding tax, it should be WYSIWYG.

California does not charge Sales Tax on Theme Park entry tickets.

This is why if you purchase the Disney Premier Pass, which is valid at both DLR and WDW, you pay a Sales Tax of 3.25%. In Orlando all tickets are subject to a 6.5% Sales Tax, and the Premier is considered half Florida and half California.
