Buying tickets

Hi, I am coming back to disney in November after a long hiatus and I had a quick question about buying tickets.

Is there a significant advantage to buying tickets ahead of time or is it easier just to buy them at the hotel when you check in?

Tickets will be cheaper if you purchase them ahead of time from a ticket seller like Undercovertourist. You will get a small discount over Disney's gate price. The tickets that they sell in the Disney hotels cost the same as they do at the gate.

But if you want to get your tickets directly from Disney (and some people do) then it makes sense to get them from the hotel concierge. Buying them at the park means waiting in line (in the heat) to buy them when you could be walking thru the turnstiles and on your way to the fun!

I agree with the PP about Undercover Tourist. It's nice to save a little on the tickets.

I would also recommend you get your tickets earlier, if you can budget it, because Disney typically raises ticket prices every August. You will save yourself some money by getting them before this years probable price increase.

Also Disney usually raises ticket prices end of July/early August, so I would strongly recommend buying them now (or whenever you have the funds saved up!)

I read somewhere that if you buy tickets in advance that when you arrive they can be added to your room key. Is this true?
