Has anyone done this? I am planning on spending the day at IOA next Saturday and I haven't ordered my ticket yet. Is it even possible to buy the tickets at the gate? How do prices compare? I have to decide if its a better idea to buy the tickets now online or to just wait at this point. Do you get a printout when you buy online or do they mail you the actual tickets? Since I am leaving in less than a week I'm concerned I won't receive them on time if I get them online.

Thanks for the help!:thumbsup2

Of course you can buy tickets at the gate. One-day tickets will not be discounted no matter where you get them. The only advantage to buying them online I can think of is the one less line you'll be waiting in once there. I don't know the media used when bought online--someone should be along to answer that for you.

When you purchase tickets online, you can do either Print at Home or electronic pick up via Will Call Kiosks. With the Print at Home option, you would actually print out the ticket on a sheet of paper which is your ticket. You can then go directly to the gate. With the Will Call kiosk option, you would use your credit card and confirmation number provided to print out your ticket at the kiosk. These would be actual ticket stock and not a sheet of paper but both would be the same for admission.

There is no discount on single day tickets...only multiple days.

With either the Print at Home or Will Call options, you won't have to worry about standing in any lines to buy tickets and you'd either have the ticket in hand (Print at Home) or make a five minute stop at the kiosk (Will Call) and you're set.
