buying tickets online and choosing delivery method

My FP+ window is coming up but it says it will take two weeks (at least) to mail for free my tickets if i buy them today.

Should I opt for the $15 express shipping or will I know my ticket #s online the moment I buy them so i can link them right away???

I don't have any experience with that.

I usually get my tickets from Undercover Tourist.

They are cheaper and they usually arrive within a few days with regular shipping.

I have a disney gift card to use and i want to link my tickets asap so i can be ready for the FP+. That is why I am using the Dis site.

You should be able to link ANY ticket right away, but yeah, I don't think UT would accept a Disney gift card.

My question remains: will I have the ticket number online to link? It says I won't have the tickets in hand for at least two weeks so I need to know that I can access my tickets online before they physically arrive. Otherwise, I'd pay for the express option.

Does anyone know the answer to this for sure?

I did regular mail and got mine within a week

I don't think you'll have a number to link your tickets until you actually have the tickets in hand.

If will call is a option I would do that. You can use the will call number to link the tix to your account. I did this with my AP, not sure if it is an option with tickets.

thanks - will call is an option but i always thought that meant not having the tix until you arrive and go to a will call place to get them. we are planning to go to a park right after we check in on our arrival day so i was wanting to avoid will call. unless you are saying that will call for disney is different and i won't have to do anything when i arrive???

Last year we did will call when we ordered our AP. We were able to link our AP to our bands using the number on our order, however we did have to stop by will call to have the AP activated before we could enter the park.

thx for all the replies - i ended up chatting with a CM and he told me i can link my reservation # immediately and still get the tix for free the slow way in the mail. so it all worked out - thx again.
