Buying tickets for two teens

I have kind of an odd situation and hope someone can let me know if I am not thinking this through correctly.

My DH, DD(age 14) and I will be in WDW from 10/22-10/30. DH and I have APs. We will need a 7 day pass for DD.(not planning on doing parks first or last day) We also plan to do a waterpark one day.
Our DS (age 19) is away at college out of state but we are going to fly him to WDW to spend the weekend with us. He will need a pass for Saturday and Sunday. (he will not be doing waterpark, we will do that later in the week).
We like hopper passes so we can go to more than one park in a day. For the kids we need 9 days total.
I am thinking of purchasing a 5 Day hopper plus and a 4 day hopper. DS can use the hopper for his two days and then DD can use the remaining 2 days.

Am I missing anything in my logic here? Any input would be appreciated! Thanks!

Tickets are non-transferable, namely a different person may not use a ticket for remaining days. Except there is no method used toverify this other than randomly doing secondary screening and crossexamination such as ask "when you were last atDisney".

However leftover days and waterpark admissions never expire so the partly used ticket may be saved for a future visit.

I don't think it will be a problem at all. I bought 4- day park hoppers for a trip we were taking last year. At the last minute my husband couldn't go so we didn't use his ticket. My aunt was going to WDW around the same time, so I gave the ticket to her. She used three days of the ticket and then gave it back to me. My son used the one day left on the ticket in February. Absolutely no problem. The way I look at it is I paid for that ticket and we didn't do anything wrong. We used the days - period.

Just my two cents.

I don't see the problem either, as long as 2 persons aren't trying to use the same ticket at the same time, no one is doing anything wrong. I also agree that you paid for the ticket and you should be able to use it at your discretion. :teeth: I wouldn't worry about. Hope everyone has fun!

I think your ticket plans sound fine. I wouldn't worry about it.

Have a great time with your family.:D

Thanks everyone for the reassurance. I also figured this combination of tickets would be the most cost effective for us.
We'll be at POFQ on 10/22!!
