It seems that my list of stuff to buy for everyone else is getting longer and longer. If anyone might have some price information on this stuff and other it would be greatly aprreciated so i can stay on a budget.

Mickey ears/embroidered
Tshirts
Xmas ornaments
watches

anything else out there would be greatly appreciated
thanks

Prices would only be guesstimates but wanted to remind you that if you find you are going to have a ton extra to bring home WDW will ship it back for you. Price for shipping depends on total amount of sale so if you end up doing the majority of shopping at World of Disney (just about everything can be found here) you would only pay one shipping charge.

Not sure on prices either but a useful piece of info from my wife is that if you are staying at a Disney Resort you can buy stuff in the park and they will send it to your room so you don't have to cart it around.

Our on-going joke is that I won't be able to open the door to our room when we get there because of all the stuff!

If you have a car, you should check out the outlet stores. They had some really good deals if you don't need specific items. We got tshirts for $5, sweatshirts under $20 (I just saw on another thread that adult sweatshirts run $30-50 in the world). The items are all authenic Disney merchandise. Just do a search on here to find out more.
I've also read that the Walmart has a large selection of Disney souvenier stuff.

When I was at WDW in Sept, I got Christmas ornaments ranging from $6 to $12. The one T-shirt I loved at was $20 for my 3 year old daughter. OMG!! I was glad I bought my shirts from the Disney Store before I left. I did buy the resort mugs and enjoy them very time I use them. We also got our daughter the Mr Potato Head pieces (all you can fit in a box) for about $18. I don't know if you have a child, but even my 11 year old nephew enjoyed it this Christmas.

We went in December. Mickey ears (plain black) were $8.50. T-shirts were about $20-35. My DD bought a sweatshirt (Child's XL) for $32. The same sweatshirt for adults was $48. There was a range of prices for most items. They also had small purses with Mickey, Tink and some others and also wristlets. The small purses were $23. In December the Christmas stuff was 30% off. I bought a four pack of Mickey ear ornaments for $12.60 on sale.

Just a little bit of info. that cost me a lot of $$ on my last trip. Did you know that whatever is shipped from Disney is tax exempt?? YES it is!!

I bought an $88.00 snowglobe and the CM asked me if I wanted it shipped. I asked how much? She told me $10.00. She then told me about the tax exempt thing. I had her ring it up with tax and with shipping. Basically if I had paid the tax, I only paid an additional $2.77 for shipping. It was a no brainer, I had it shipped.

Hope that helps others like it helped me :rotfl:

When we were there in July, the mickey ears were around $8 and they embroidery them for free. T-shirts are in the $18-25 range and sometimes higher depending on the type of shirt.

I was told by a cm at once upon a toy..that you don't have to shop in all one store. What you have to do is bring the other things with you and make sure to have your receipt. They will tally up the total and do it that way. My honest opinion is that they probably actually return the item at the final store and rebuy it at whereever you are shipping for so everything prints on the one receipt..that is just a guess on my part. I did not try it, but I had inquired about it as I could only find what I was looking for there and it was huge..shipping was 12.00 (I believe) ups ground...and that was up to 100.00 worth of items.

I have made out before with artwork and the no tax bit. When I purchased my cels, they shipping was about 25.00. Tax wasn't that much different..I believe it was actually a little more.

Previous posters were correct about price of ears and free embroidery. I like getting our ears on Main St. in MK. IMO, the t-shirt prices are outrageous at Disney. If you have your own transportation, there is an official Disney store at a nearby outlet. They have all sorts of shirts, sweatshirts, ornaments, etc. that are no longer offered at the Disney stores.

My best find there was an ornament that we had gotten on a previous Disney trip (a cute glass bell with a mini Tink inside). My DD had pulled Tink off the chain when she was 3, and they no longer carried that particular ornament at Downtown Disney the next time we went. Well, this past summer, I found the ornament at this discount Disney store! I know this has nothing to do with your original post, but it was an exciting moment for me! We always buy one ornament on every family vacation we go on, it is a tradition :flower:

We just got back from our last trip this past Friday. We stopped off at a nearby Wal-Mart for grocery supplies, and they had a large selection of Disney items...shirts, sweatshirts, pens, pjs, etc. The t-shirts for the kids were $5.95 and super cute! They had some adorable fleece jackets, Tinkerbell, Grumpy, etc. $19.95

Just a thrifty alternative to consider :scratchin
