Does anyone know what brand and model the stroller is that you can buy at disney world or have a pic of one. I saw some red ones at Downtown Disney for around $40.

It's a Kolcraft. I don't know the model number. My daughter Lily, loved it this past week. It was one that came to use with our house. I wish I would have bought one. The canopy stinks though. We safety pinned a blanket to it when she was sleeping.
I don't know how to attach a picture. Type in Disney red stroller in the search box and you can find more info about it.

I think that they're Kolcraft umbrella style and are about $40.... still looking for a pic for you :)

I have one as well, no pics of it though.

However, I'll give me .02 on this stroller. You didn't ask for it, but you're getting it.

The canopy STINKS. If you're going to be folding this bad boy up and taking it ANYWHERE, take off the canopy. I haven't had it on there since we first bought it at WL, and promptly put it in our car to drive back to Fort Wilderness. It popped off and hit me in the face, lol.

There are no cup holders, but I'm pretty sure you can buy the kind that attach and they will work. We just use water bottles and sippys at Disney, but if you're going to use it at the mall at home, then it's a problem.

The handles are what sucked me in. We used to have this TINY little umbrella stroller that we picked up at Target and you litterally felt like you were bent in half to push the thing. I can push this stroller fine, it's still a little short for my dad, who's 6'2.

I've never needed a rain sheild on it ... so I can't speak of that. Though I own one "just in case"

Sometimes, it's hard to fold up, and I think we lost the locking clip along the way. You have to push in this lever at the bottom, while pushing up, and then it folds. I'm a single mom to a two year old, this is not fun in a crowded tram station. It can be done, but it's not fun.

I think that's about it. We've gotten a ton of use out of the stroller. We picked it up on a wim at WL while we were there for dinner and I've had it for about a year. I was looking at similar models that run about $200, but they have things like cup holders and trays, and possibly shades that don't pop off and hit you in the face. If you're looking for a stroller for Disney, this thing is pretty good, it's lightweight, and pretty easy to carry ... if you're looking more for an everyday stroller at home and Disney, I would look into spending a little bit more money. This stroller does everything it's supposed to do.

it is a kolcraft umbrella stroller that you can buy at babies r us for about half the price. Cheaper than renting but I would just bring my own.

This is the stroller they sell there:

We've bought 2 of them (different trips, a couple of years ago) and they've been fantastic and held up well. They recline, which is what I liked. My kids are now 4 and 6 and we still bring them. They're light enough to not be a hassle, and indespensible for when the kids get tired legs.

They get 2 thumbs up from me :thumbsup2

ETA: Oh... and both of ours came with a cup holder and a mesh bag on the back of the stroller. I do agree about the canopy, though... when the strollers were new the canopy would pop off when I went to close the stroller. After using them for a while though they stay put.

We bought one of these on one of our last trips for our preschooler. With all of the walking our preschooler was getting tired and dh was tired of our ds riding on his shoulders. We were at DTD and picked up a bright red Kolocraft to go along with our bright yellow Combi which the toddler uses. We've gotten over a years use out of it so far and it has held up great. It'll be going back to WDW with us in less than two months.

We just ordered these from WDW Merch and had it shipped for us right to the POP for our trip next month! :woohoo: we can't wait!!!

Hey DisneyMommyMichelle - congrats on the baby! Are you planning on swapping the strollers like you do the decorations? Because we're going in June, need two strollers, and would HAPPILY (did I spell that right?) share the cost with you! :)

Quick question for anyone that has used these strollers at Disney - how are they for the bus rides? And, what is the weight limit?

Thanks for any help!

That's a great idea! I didn't know they would do that

They gave me hard time at first, then i said well you ship to my house, if i am paying shipping what is the difference and then she askd her super and BAM no shipping and it will be waiting. I have to call 1 week before i get there to make sure it is there and if not to give time to get them there :)
Really easy and soo convenient for me!

No stroller swap! sorry :) we loove these strollers and will not be giving them up :) i am however just giving the 2 umbrella strollers that we will be using in the airport away to anyone staying at POP, to do whatever they want with them :)

Does anyone know the weight limit on these? DD is very skinny and rides in our regular umbrella stroller each trip. Dh would be so excited to not have to take it through the airport on the way down.

It is a GREAT stroller:thumbsup2 We used it in December for our 2 year old, he loved it! So did we. getting on and off the buses with it was easy.:)
