Buying Shula's Gift Cards from Raise

Has anyone ever done this? I went to Raise and bought two Shula's gift cards, saving $53.03 on $250 worth of gift cards. I called Shula's about using e-gift cards at their location, and they said it would be no problem. Just print out the code and bring them in. But then I got worried because the Raise site states they must be redeemed online. So what I did was go to the Shula's site and bought two physical gift cards using the Raise gift cards. I printed off an invoice but did not get an email confirmation. Instead, I got an automatic email from someone who works at Shula's saying she will be out of the office until Monday, January 25. I'm a little worried this may not work. Can anyone give me some reassurance?

If this works, it will be a huge savings! I just wish I had thought about going through the Swagbucks site to buy the Raise gift cards. I had already bought a $150 one before thinking about it. Worked like a charm on the second one. We will also be using a free steak birthday coupon. Pretty good deal for a very expensive restaurant--if it works!

Shula's accepts the Tables in Wonderland card so if you have that you get an additional 20 percent off.

Yes, I was aware of that. We actually crunched the numbers and found that we were better off using our DVC discounts, Landry's card discount, and Shula's birthday coupon (which we could not have used in conjunction with the TIW). I also was not happy about it jumping in price like it did two weeks before our December trip. I was on the fence until then.

I purchased one from Raise last year and then used the egift card info to purchase a physical GC from their website. It came pretty quickly. Unfortunately, our plan changed considerably last year and we never made it to Shula's.

This is good to know that it worked. Thanks for the reassurance. Sorry your plans got changed. Hope you can get to Shula's soon. It's amazing!

Did everything work out ok for you with Shula's?
So far, so good. The $150 Shula's physical gift card came in the mail a couple of days ago. (I was surprised it got here so quickly with the foot of snow we got.) I'm waiting for the $100 one to come in (hopefully soon).

ETA-Forgot to add that I wish I had noticed the Raise promo code on the SB portal for the new customers. It's $5 off a $75 purchase. I could have saved even more if I had gone through SB on the first order.
