buying shares

Been looking up the benefits of the shares and it says some exclusions apply.

Does anyone know if there is anywhere at DLP the discount cant be used? Any items you cant use it on? Can it be used on counter services restaurants and in the hotels?

:goodvibes

So glad you have your forms Manx. We will be having pastries and cafe au lait in Salon Mickey before you know it.

I got mine in the week of the 20th April, and I posted the application at the beginning of March, so it was almost exactly 6 weeks until my shareholder card arrived in the post :)

thanks its only been 3 since sending mine off

the coffee and pastry in salon mickey for shareholders, is there a charge for it?

No charge at Salon Mickey.
We went there twice this week, before going into the park at 10am (we didn't use EMH this time). Very civilised, the CM at the door takes your shareholders card and park tickets, you help yourself to a pastry or cookie, then go and sit in the lounge area, where there is orange juice and water in a fridge, and a hot drinks machine, with milks, sugars etc on the counter beside it. When you are ready to leave, you tell the CM, he/she gives you back your card and park tickets, and lets you out into the park, so you don't even have to use the ticket turnstiles :).

Im the only shareholder so wil dh and dd be allowed it free too or just me?

You can take guests in with you - I believe its up to 3 guests plus yourself each visit? and its free for your guests too :goodvibes.

Too bad they don't have this for WDW and DLR.... That would be cool. I guess we get the priviledge of watching a mediocre CEO continue to diminish the magic and get a large multi-million dollar bonus for doing it.

Its at the entrance to the park. When you reach the main park ticket turnstiles, walk to your right until you reach the end of the turnstiles, then look left, and you'll see 3 canopies. The first canopy in the row says "salon Mickey". The other 2 are Guest Services and the Luggage store office.

Or, go to the right of the Disneyland Hotel as you approach the park (this is the way you are directed if you go into the park for EMH). Straight ahead of you as you walk to the park entrance you'll see the 3 canopies.

Rap the brass knocker on the door of Salon Mickey, and you'll be let in by a CM there :).
