Buying Points?

Please help a very confused Disney addict - I have read a couple trip reports about people renting points for their stay at Disney - How does this work and where do you check on it? Is is a good deal? Any advise would be appreciated!!!

I believe that this may have to do with the DVC. I believe in the DVC board you can rent points and trade them. Not 100% on that since I am not DVC.

Go to the bottom of the DisBoards and you will see under Disney Vacation Club Members - DVC Rent/Trade - you should find out everything you need to know there - I sure did! I just rented points for OKW and it is DEFINITELY a great way to save $$$ and get a great stay!
