Buying personalised Mickey ears in the UK?

I'm sure someone here will know... is this possible?

The UK Disney Store only seems to have the flashy ones for DLP. I want to try and get the cute black ones and have them personalised for our trip to WDW. Can I? Or is it only available if you live stateside?

Not sure about if or where it can be done here, but if you do end up having to have it done there, they do it at Mousegear at Epcot. There must be other places in the parks but Mousegear is the only one I can think of where I've seen them doing it.

I wonder if there is somewhere you can order them online to be delivered to your resort/hotel if you do this just prior to your trip - in case you can't get it sorted in the UK

I wondered that too. I read a comment last week about ordering them in advance or you can't have personalised ones, but I thought that can't be the case or Disney are really missing a trick.

But you reckon you can get them personalised at Mousegear? That would work too- we're getting the $100 giftcard, and those would be top of my wish list

pretty sure you can also get them done in the little section inside the Christmas store in DTD..you can get loads of items personalised in there.

Yeah, they are at the back end of the store (the side that exits looking towards World Showcase).

Another place that might do them is The Chappeau next to Main Street Confectionery at Magic Kingdom - and if not, one of the little stores along Main Street. Even the Emporium on the other side of the street might.

If you post on the Theme Parks Board you'll get some answers pretty quickly and for shipping, since they would know if they can be shipped locally (within the USA) it is irrelevant that you live in the UK as same would apply if shipping to your resort/hotel

You can get them through Disney Florist and they will deliver them to your resort/accommodation; however, you will need to get them as part of a package.

I have ordered a Welcome To The World Of Disney for both my boys to start our trip in an extra magical way!

If you contact the concierge desk at the hotel you're staying at either by phone or email, you should be able to purchase them without having to get them as part of a package. It depends on the staff as to how far they will go for you but most will have contacts within the parks and/or will run an errand specifically to get some (and get them personalised) for putting in your room prior to arrival. They usually just charge it to your room and you pay when you check out (although have never stayed in Disney property, am only going off experience of top class hotels in general). We're staying at Hilton Bonnet Creek and NOTHING is too big or too small for them to sort out for you. I originally looked at Disney Floral & Gifts but the packages were astronomical prices so the Front of House Supervisor at the hotel said she would put something together on a cheaper budget so we got better value. She even got ALL the characters in the parks to sign an autograph book for my son! Now we just need photos with as many characters as poss! Lol!

Yes, they do the personalisation in The Chapeau and also in the shop at the exit to the Mickey meet & greet at Town Sq Theatre.

Just a thought, if you can bear to wait and if they are not a surprise for your other half, it might be nicer to get them there yourself rather than have them ordered. DD has tried some on that she found really uncomfortable and others that feel fine. You may want to make sure you are happy with how they sit/fit before buying as you can't return them once embroidered. Just a thought

ITA with trying them on first we bought some for my Granddaughter in Aug. from Mousegear, it said infant but they were huge on her!
