If we buy park tickets online through Disney...(and are NOT staying at a Disney hotel), are our tickets mailed to us prior to arrival?

If you opt to have them shipped, yes. You can also select will-call pickup.

You should choose to not have the tickets shipped.

Instead, order as "Will Call" (pick up at any ticket booth.)

That way you can make advance FP+ selections by putting the confirmation number into your MyDisneyExperience file.

Also, you will be saving the postage cost.

So if I have the tickets mailed to me I CAN NOT do advance FP+? Or would I have to wait until I had the tickets in had to do the FP+?

If I pick them up in the parks...where do I do that? Any park? Is that going to cause us to stand in a long line?

4- Is that going to cause us to stand in a long line?

1- That would not necessarily be the case.
2- Yes.
3- Any ticket booth or Guest Relations outside any theme park, water park, TTC or two locations at DTD.
4- Not unless you are very, very unlucky.

We collected our tickets from the guest relations at Disneyquest as soon as we arrived, there was no queue at all and we went straight into the Disneyquest shop and bought Magic bands and they linked them there and then, that way we didn't waste our first day in a queue for tickets at magic kingdom

Just to be clear, there is not necessarily going to be a "wasted day" in a ticket queue at MK, either.

Unlike at many non-Disney theme parks, most guests will have their tickets in-hand before arriving at the park.
