Buying Park Tickets?

Is there any benefit to purchasing park tickets in advance or should we just get them when we arrive? We will be going on a Friday.

I stayed on site; so just got the tickets when I checked in.

China Travel Services has them for slightly (but not significantly) cheaper. It's only like $11HKD difference.
