I would like to take my Mom to WDW in December for a few days. I will be pushing her in a wheel chair but overall in good health. Trying to figure out the best type of ticket to purchase. My late father was in the Air Force during the Korean War. I did not know if they would qualify her to get a military ticket or not. Any other suggestions would be appreciative.

At the time your dad was deceased, was he an active or reserve duty service member, retired military veteran, or 100% service connected disabled? If he was discharged, probably not. It's depending on whether the surviving spouse retains the benefits. If he did qualify and she remarried, she might have forfeited the benefits.

There's no age-related discounts, my mom will be 86 when she goes and I'll be buying her full price tickets.

i took my mum to DLP when she was 91. We used a wheelchair to get her around and she had the very best time. She went on Pirates and all the rides in Fantasyland. We saw the shows and she met Mickey. It was her first and sadly last time in Disney but she loved every second. Unfortunately she had a stroke not long after and is now unable to travel but if I could take her now, I would IMG_1532.JPG

Took my 89 year old Mom twice in 2021 to both WDW and Universal...she was fine with a scooter...first day riding it was dicey but after a some time with it she was a pro....using the elevator was the big test. Best wishes for a wonderful trip!

This is Such a Thrill to See! My hubby n I took my in-laws to Disney ( first for both of them) and we ALL had a great time. Brings back Many Happy Memories as they have both Passed. My mom and dad started our Multi year Disney family Vacations in the 70s and we siblings have all continued that tradition ( albeit no longer multi year visits for some sibs) with our own families.
Thx for sharing the pix.. :)

OP: have a Great Time.. pixie dust ur way!
